While Amourok is in full swing, we certainly do not wish to forget Sir Heart's Day! A common ritual of the day includes exchanging cards with those we care about, whether they be a partner, friend, or family. In the true spirit of the day, we challenge you with this punny card contest!

Design a friendly (and perhaps groan-inducing) card to send to your fellow Terrafrostians.

An example of the type of thing we are looking for is above -- a simple 1-sided "card," displayed with at least 1 image of some kind, that expresses a nice message. Including a pun of some kind is recommended but not strictly required!



Rules:

1) All work submitted must be your own. You cannot ask another User, a friend, or a family member to make the image for you. You may use official IcePets images (edited or not) for your entry.
2) The contest is held anonymously. Showing your artwork to other Users during the contest will disqualify you from the contest.
3) Your image must be uploaded and sent to Quil by February 21st, 23:59:59 (IcePets time). It does not matter where or how you upload it. Your submission will count as long as it is sent to Quil within the time frame.
4) The contest is limited to one entry per User.
5) All entries submitted must be considered appropriate under the Terms and Conditions of IcePets.

On February 22nd everyone will get to vote for their favourite entries! You only get one vote and voting will be completely anonymous.

This year's Amourok has been neck and neck, with Patchley and Elton facing off for what each imagines as the loveliest Glacia. For every shining crystal out there, there's a fluffy Plushie to balance it out. We hope everyone is having a thoroughly soft and shiny holiday of love.

Don't forget to visit Heart Attack, NPC Shops, and Quests for more chances to collect Fragments. A full set of four Empty Heart Fragments can be converted into the Full Soft Heart or Full Sharp Heart, depending on your team. The Full Hearts give more points than the Fragments, so it's worth the effort! If you're collecting too many of the opposing team's Full Hearts, the Trades Page is a great way to exchange them with other players. Lastly, remember that this year you can also turn in Plushie or Crystal Pet Plushies for some extra points! Visit the War Room to turn in your Items and check on your points.

Amourok and Heart Attack end on February 23rd at 23:59:59 IcePets Time so be sure to participate while you can! You can also chat with your fellow team members on the official IcePets Discord server.



The Candles are now gone from Heart Attack, and you'll find they've been replaced by a different set of familiar Items! The new Crystal and Plushie Items will remain in the consolation prize pool along with the Fragments and Full Hearts, so you'll still get plenty of chances to collect them.

The Plushie Lugra has joined the Plushie ranks today! Of course, even members of the Crystal team can change into this new colour if they would like.

The Plushie Lugra Morphing Potion is now stocking in the Snow Jar Igloo, but if you would like to proudly show off some Plushie scales immediately, you can also find it in the I.C.E Shop until the end of the month for 500 IceCash (or 450 IceCash for Gold Account members).



It seems that some team members have taken on a more fruity scent. Perhaps they have acquired one of these new Strawberry Ducky toys! This new addition to the Ducky menagerie is funded by @Splash, and can be found stocking in the Toy Shop! There were some crystals hiding inside the gears of the team sorter which weren't noticed! Unfortunately, this resulted in teams being uneven. We had to get the machine up and running again which resulted in everyone being reassigned. Please check your team again!

These crystals are out of control. They're absolutely everywhere. All month, they've been plaguing features and NPCs, growing off walls and windowsills, cluttering the floors and streets, and generally getting in the way of everyone and everything.

The Plushie Ridix has been trying to stock extra Plushies for the upcoming 14th, the famous day of love declarations and gifts ever since Sir Heart famously stood on the ramparts of his kingdom's castle and professed his love for Priscilla Passion. However, Plushie Mania is practically buried under crystal shards, and even the Heart Attack prizes were affected! This is supposed to be the Festival of Love! Evil Pets are known for stirring up trouble, but they've always gloated and taken the credit, and this year it's all silence from them.



It's time to do something about this. The Plushie Ridix has put out a call to action for all Terrafrostians: get rid of those gosh darned crystals! Sweep them, bag them, bin them, whatever you have to do. They're sharp, they hurt if you step on one, and frankly, they're getting in the way of what should be a soft, huggable holiday full of soft, huggable Plushies.



What's this? A Crystal Cobron has stepped forward to speak!

"What's wrong? Why is everybody getting upset? We wanted to make this holiday something special! Crystals are beautiful. They make a wonderful gift for your loved one. So we thought, why not give that gift to all of Terrafrost? You can find cheap Plushies left and right all year round -- what's so special about that? Give them something they can really cherish!"



In the centre of Glacia beneath the Dragon Statue, the Plushie Ridix is standing to one side, and the Crystal Cobron to the other. Is love about soft, adorable shows of affection, or brilliant, expensive tokens of beauty? It's not just about Love vs Evil anymore.

It's Amourok!





It's time for Love vs Evil to step aside, making way for a full-on annual "clash of the colours!" It's still the festival you know and love, but the doors have been thrown open. Two new teams are battling it out this year, and you can follow these two captains to the Amourok Event Page to sign up!

Pesky Empty Heart Fragments are now showing up in NPC Shops, Quest rewards, and Heart Attack. Combine them to form Full Soft Hearts or Full Sharp Hearts, depending on the team you get assigned. If you're lucky, you may find some Full Hearts themselves around the site.





You may notice the Love vs Evil Store is now known as the Amourok Shop. Mentions of Valentine's Day are now Sir Heart's Day, and your Valentine is rather your Sweetheart. A few Books and Items have been modified to fit. The "Valentines Bath Set" is now the "Sir Heart's Day Bath Set," and the "Valentines Sugar Cookie" is now the "Sweetheart Sugar Cookie."

In case you're wondering, Feb 14 is Sir Heart's Day, when Sir Heart famously asked Priscilla Passion for her hand in marriage with the whole town as witness. It's become a traditional day for declaring love for one another, and the well-known Wulfer philosopher and poet, Va Va Amour, wrote a number of pieces analysing Sir Hear's life and popularising the event.

For decades it was simply the Festival of Love, until Evil Pets started getting up to mischief and challenging Terrafrost to the classic Love vs Evil clash each year. This attracted more attention to the holiday, as those who didn't care for the pure Festival of Love now had reason to participate, and even the loneliest IcePet could find solidarity during the competition. Now, the "clash of the colours" aspect has become so associated with the festival, it's here to stay!

Love is in the air, and Terrafrostians all over the globe are picking out cuddly gifts and glimmering jewels to give to their beloveds. You can get some special somethings of your own if you grab your hammer and head over to Heart Attack to smash some jars!

A new game starts every 30 minutes, and if you break open a jar with one of the new Pet Plushies inside, you win! Even if you don't find the Plushie, there are plenty of consolation prizes to be found, some new and some old! Though, it seems those doggone crystals have made their way even into the Heart Attack prizes.



Heart Attack will be open until February 23rd at 23:59:59 (IcePets Time), however some of the consolation prizes will shift halfway through, so get them while you can! You have to wait 30 seconds between clicks, but if you want to get even more goodies, using a UHD from the I.C.E Shop on any feature will half the wait time to 15 seconds!



The Love and Evil Letters will be making a return to the NPC shops for a short time (with the exception of Golden Touch and the Snow Jar Igloo), along with the Heart Balloon (in the Toy Shop only), so keep an eye on the stocks for your chance to grab some before the event is over!



Similarly, you can find some old holiday items in the I.C.E Shop for 2 weeks at 500 IceCash each (450 for Gold Account Users). If you've had trouble getting a hold of the Love Jakrit Stamp, Evil Sweetheart Card (formerly called Anti-Valentines Card), Romantic Spaghetti Dinner, or Love Ridix Plush, here is an opportunity!

To celebrate the wonderful month of February, we come to you with a whole slew of new User Requests!

Of course, February doesn't have to be all about the hearts and pink colours. Brought to you by @Mongolou are two new Tech Items! The Pear Green Tech Bow Tie and Tech Cobron Plushie have now appeared in stores! You can find the bow tie stocking in the Grooming Parlour, while the Plushie is now stocking in Plushie Mania. The Tech Cobron Plushie is also being rewarded by the Book Quest, and will be requested by the Plushie Quest in a week.



Last but not least, we bring you the Crystal Ducky Figurine, funded by @Silvy! You can pick up this lovely crystal Ducky from the Toy Store, but I wouldn't recommend playing with it -- it looks very fragile!

Yikes, those crystals are everywhere. The poor Plushie Ridix can barely keep them off the shelves and floor of Plushie Mania now. What began as a mild curiosity is turning into a real nuisance, and it would seem this has become more complicated than a fun look for a few rooms.

We're not entirely sure where all these crystals came from. Sure, they're beautiful, a good sort of gift for the upcoming season of love letters and secret admirers, but this is getting ridiculous. One thing is clear: if they keep growing at their current rate, Glacia's going to be overrun -- and who knows, maybe all of the Snowslide Mountains. All we can suggest for now is to watch where you step, because those things are sharp.
