To anyone who sent in a Support Ticket for interest in the Writer position, I have not forgotten about you. Just been really swamped with other work lately, and I will be getting to you all very soon.
I noticed the Red Apple had no assigned food value, now it does. Whenever using it a red apple, from now on, it will help the hunger level of your pet as it should.
In the ever-expanding world of IcePets, you will undoubtedly meet new people who you will want to make friends with. The friends feature allows you to maintain a list of all your friends on Ice Pets. Simply click on their user name to go to their profile, click onto their friends page, and click Add as Friend. All of your friends will show up on your friends page. A benefit of adding your friends to this list is that you will be able to see when they are online, making it even easier to communicate with them. You can even select up to 10 of your best friends to your Top Ten which puts them at the top of your friends list. ---------------------------------- Theres also an updated Help Page to the Messaging feature:
Adding a Friend. Adding a friend is a breeze. To the left of this guide you will notice a bar with a few different links -- click the one titled My friends. Once you do, you will be directed to a page listing your friends. When you are there, you will see a blue button titled Add a Friend, so click it. You will see Username and an empty box. Enter the username of the person you want to be friends with there, not your own! Click Add Friend and all you have to do is wait for them to accept! After they accept, they will show under your My Friends tab.
Please note that after seventy-two (72) hours, your friend request expires, meaning it is no longer available to the other person, and you will need to send another request to them.
Creating a Message. The first step in creating a message is easy. Click Create Message found on the side bar to the left of this page. Once you have done so, you will see a box titled Username. This is where you enter the username of the person you would like to talk to, not your own. The Subject box can be anything (appropriate) of your choosing! It will only be between you and your conversation partner. Below you will see a huge, open box. Enter what you would like to say to the other person there, and hit Send Reply.
Note that after chatting with your friend for a while, you will eventually run out of space on the first page. You may not notice it, but instead think that your messages are no longer sending. Look to the top of your page and you might see something that says Page 1. If you have run out of messaging room, it will have gone to page two (2). Go to page two (2) by clicking Go! and your conversation can be continued!
Your Messages. Clicking on the My Messages tab will direct you to all your previous conversations with different users. Their username as well as the message subject and last responded date. To delete excess messages, check the box of the one(s) you would like deleted, and click Delete Selected at the bottom.

Hi All,
This is just a note to say that referrals activation is temporarily unavailable, and should be back up within the next 24 hours.
You can still refer people, however if they meet the conditions required to activate the referral, you wont receive the referral points until the activation system is back up.
This should not affect the referrals page, or any other part of the site.

As some of you know, our Terms & Conditions were very outdated and needed updating to make sense to this current time in our development. Many minor changes have been made; the most significant update is the two sections on the issue of hacking.
Hacking / Glitch Abuse / Exploits - Part 1
Hacking / searching for exploits / anything of similar nature is allowed, provided the following: 1. Upon finding a flaw in security, or anything of similar nature, you must notify an IcePets team member immediately, with all information acquired, in effort to get the flaw corrected. 2. You may not tell anyone, except the IcePets team, information you have acquired of security flaws. 3. You may not benefit any account, including your own, from a security flaw. Any items, icepoints, icecash, stats, or benefit of any kind; acquired from the location of a security flaw, must be made known to an IcePets team member and held in the account while waiting for it to be removed.
Hacking / Glitch Abuse / Exploits - Part 2
Knowingly purchasing or receiving exploited account benefits risks the banning of your account.
If you innocently purchased or received benefits to your account, that you believe resulted from an exploit, please contact an IcePets team member to investigate the matter and remove the illegitimate benefits.
Failure to comply with the Terms & Conditions may result in the banning of your account.
To sum up the key point and meaning; we are allowing people to help the site, and banning the people who abuse the site.
Please take a few minutes of your time to review the Terms & Conditions of IcePets. The link can be found at the footer of every page.

I just wanted to thank you all on behalf of IcePets for your patience during this tedious time. We are working on all areas of the IcePets website to make it easier to use, and faster for everyone.
Messaging has just been re-opened for everybody, however all messages have been erased to compliment the notifications system (also, giving everyone a fresh slate to start with)
Quick Stock and Scrap Shop are still unavailable, and should be operating again sometime in the next week.
