Hello everyone! We come to you with a whole variety of requests and updates to bring you today!
First off, let's introduce the Candy Corn Candypillar Plushie, funded by @IcePrincess. Additionally, we have the Autumn Krittle Plush, funded by @Quil. Both of these are now available from Plushie Mania and will also be requested by the Plushie Quest!
Next up, we have a new Secret Avatar for everyone to collect, courtesy of @gotchalocket. Good luck figuring out how to get this new Avatar, For the Love of Candy Corn!
Next up, we are happy to announce that Grave Digger has started recurring on 15 minute intervals, and will continue to do so until the end of the month.
Halloween is approaching quickly, and we wanted to remind everyone of all of the events that will be ending by October 31st 23:59:59 IcePets Time.
- The ghosts that have been visiting Terrafrost will only be here until the end of the month, so be sure to find them every day! - The Haunted House will go back to its regular denizens and visiting hours in November. - Grave Digger will end completely starting in November. - Finally, Contest voting will end at the end of the month, so be sure to get those votes in!

In the back streets of Glacia, some of the NPCs discovered a dusty warehouse filled with stacks of the Strange Present. They've divided them up and brought them to their shops, so you can now find most NPC stores stocking them!
The Spooky Art Contest entries are now closed. It's time to vote for your favourites! Head to the Contests Page and let us know which nightmarish incarnation spooks you the most!
Additionally, if that's not enough spooky tidings, the Token Booth's Halloween stock has shifted once more. The Halloween Novyn Mask, Scared Black Cat Plushie, Pumpkin Soup, and Pumpkin Ice Cube are available in the Booth until October 31st, 23:59:59 IcePets Time.
It's that time again! Wherever you are in Terrafrost, head to the nearest voting booth and cast your vote for Member of the Month (MOTM for short)! Terrafrostians can vote for up to three users to win 100,000 IcePoints and the Member of the Month Avatar.
Two winners will be chosen each month. One lucky new winner will be honoured with Yet to Win MOTM, for those who have yet to be recognised for their community contribution. Then there is the Free for All MOTM, which includes all members except Staff, for those long-time members who deserve another tip of the hat. For those who have already won MOTM, you will receive the Honoured Member Trophy.
Remember! - You cannot nominate yourself or members of Staff. - Do not ask other users to vote for yourself or other members. - Submit your nominations here!
You have until the end of the month to submit your vote! However from now on, in all future months, you can submit your votes at any time during the month. Winners will be announced on the first of next month!

We've given some of the old Halloween Items and Avatars a fresh face this autumn! For starters, the Happy Halloween! Hidden Avatar has a smooth new look.
The Bloody Wooden Stake, Things That Go Bump in the Night, Voodoo Doll, Garlic Earrings (previously Garlic and Crucifix Earrings), Witch's Cauldron (previously Witches Cauldron), Skeleton Key, and Garlic Clove have all received a makeover, as well as their associated Avatar, the Spooky Gifts Hidden Avatar. Happy haunting!
You may need to execute a hard refresh (Ctrl + F5 keys) to see the updated images right away!

We'd like to welcome a slew of beautiful new User-requested Items to the site!
To start us off, we have the huggable Scaly Skink Plushie requested by @mochihugs. This is now available from Plushie Mania and will be requested by the Plushie Quest.
Next up is the haunting Dark Makoat Statue requested by @Nexinhah, which can be found spooking up the Toy Store and will be requested by the Space Quest.
Finally, we have a whole set of items requested by @gotchalocket. Also joining the Toy Store and Space Quest is the cheerful Lighthouse Key Chain, but the rest take on a more ghostly theme!
From the Frozen Collectives Emporium, find the adorably cube-ish Ghost Ice Cube; in the Food Mall pick up the mysterious Mummified Scones; and over at the Grooming Parlour you'll find Skeleton Gloves, Pumpkin Candles, and the Witch's Hat.
The Ice Cube will be requested by the Snowman Quest, and the Scones will be joining the other new Items needed for the Space Quest. If you have your own ideas for Items you'd love to see on-site, remember to check out our Support Page to look into funding them!

Today is IcePets' Anniversary!
It's October 20th, and IcePets turns 9 years old today! Thank you to everyone for being here, for participating in the community, and helping IcePets become what it is today. We hope to see many more years of growth to come!

Starting today, you may notice some of Terrafrost's spookiest denizens wandering around... it looks like the ghosts of Terrafrost have decided to show up again for Halloween and say hello!
From now until October 31, 23:59:59 IcePets Time, the ghosts of Pets past will be floating around, handing out tricks and treats to Halloween costumed Terrafrostians. These friendly spooky fellows will appear around Terrafrost three times a day, but disappear for the day after tricking them.
Additionally, the Ouija Board has returned to give you an opportunity to better speak with the ghosts! This Item will reset the ghosts for the day and allow you to find them all once more! This can only be used once per day, however.
You can find this item as a possible prize from the Strange Present for the remainder of the month -- so head on over and dig up some graves!
But if you don't want to wait, or are having poor luck in Grave Digger, the Ouija Board is also available in the I.C.E Shop for 150 IceCash (135 IceCash for Gold Account members!).
Not only have the ghosts returned to play, but some familiar Items have returned to the Token Booth!
The Bat Plushie, Candycorn, Halloween Dovu Wrappings, and Pawbert are all back in the Token Booth to celebrate the season! Be sure to pick up these Items quickly though! They are only available until October 23, 23:59:59 IcePets Time.

As the season grows colder and darker, with leaves blowing across the streets and haunting moans singing through the branches, the spirits of the dead also grow restless. Cemeteries seem... almost alive. Perhaps it's time to grab a shovel and start digging into the loose earth, because Grave Digger is now open for the Halloween season.
Strange things are afoot -- namely, the Strange Present buried under one of the Grave Digger tombstones. These will appear every 30 minutes, so if you don't win, remember to check back! You can dig under one grave every 30 seconds until the elusive Strange Present is found -- but even along the way, you may find some other treasures buried in the soil.
If you have used a UHD on your account for any feature, the wait time between digging is reduced to 15 seconds.

The sky is darkening, so much so that the daylight feels like evening. All the birds have gone quiet, the leaves rustle in a pre-storm wind, and static fills the air. With a crash of thunder, the new Storm Xephyr rides down to Terrafrost on a bolt of lightning.
The Storm Xephyr Morphing Potion, like other Xephyr potions, is obtainable from the Golden Touch. If you know you have to get your hands on this crackling colour, it will also be buyable from the I.C.E Shop for 500 IceCash (450 IceCash for Gold Account users) until the end of the month.

As more Pets around Terrafrost don their Halloween Colours, we want to see some of your interpretations of these spooky, spectral incarnations! Can you imagine an amorphous, gelatinous creature that would haunt someone's nightmares? Show us! It's time for a Spooky Colouring Contest!
On the Contests Page, you can find the Blob's base, ready for your colourful machinations. Take this image and transform it into the spookiest nightmare you can dream up! The rules are as follows:
Rule 1 - One entry per user. Rule 2 - Work must be entirely your own. Rule 3 - You should not show anyone else your entry; it is to remain anonymous before and during voting. Rule 4 - Art must be kept PG-13. For example: Your entry can depict blood but it may not show limbs chopped off and dripping blood. Rule 5 - The base must be recognizable in the end. You can edit it to look more scary but the image should not have so much added to it or removed that we cannot recognize the original.
If you're unsure whether something is suitable, please submit a Support Ticket.
You have until October 24th 23:59:59 (IcePets Time) to submit your artwork. Everyone who enters will receive a small prize, and users will vote for the winners. The top three will receive additional prizes. So let out that creative spirit, and let's get things spooky in here!

October wouldn't be complete without Halloween Morphing Potions. For the rest of the month, you can now find all Halloween Morphing Potions (except Jakrit or Xephyr) and the Halloween Snow Jar stocking in the Snow Jar Igloo.
If you're looking for a sure thing, you can also purchase the Halloween Snow Jar from the I.C.E Shop for 1,000 IceCash (900 IceCash for Gold Account users!) until the end of the month.

The Haunted House has been creaking and moaning. Shutters flap, doors swing on their hinges, and Ralph swore he saw lights on in the attic. It seems with the spooky season, spirits have come from far and wide to liven up the Haunted House. With all the activity, the Haunted House can be entered more often for the time being -- every three hours instead of six. It also seems the spirits have left more strange objects around than usual...
Until the end of the month, you may happen upon some old Halloween event prizes or Halloween Morphing Potions, among other things... including an old friend that we haven't seen for a while.
Don't forget, you can always pick up a Rustic Oil Lantern from the I.C.E Shop to guide you through the dark hallways a bit more safely. Rumor has it that the Lantern's brightness has been turned up this year, further increasing your chances of successfully navigating the House's corridors.

A chill wind rustles gusts of dry leaves, long shadows fall over ripening pumpkins, and sunset falls early. It's that time of year again -- spooky, chilly, haunting October! Halloween festivities are now underway. You can once again go Trick-or-Treating with your pets for the duration of the month.
In order to trick-or-treat, you must fulfill two prerequisites. You must have a Halloween Pet and you must equip them with an Empty Halloween Treat Bag. Have no fear, because the NPCs will help you out!
1. The NPC Shops, with the exception of the Golden Touch and the Snow Jar Igloo, will now be stocking Empty Halloween Treat Bags. 2. The Beauty King will morph one of your pets into a Halloween Pet for you.
In order to participate, you can put food on your doorstep by visiting your profile. When you have a Halloween Pet equipped with an Empty Halloween Treat Bag, you can then visit other users' profiles to collect food. Happy trick-or-treating, and keep an eye out for more Halloween surprises!
