IST  Alot of people have noticed the forums have slowed down ALOT recently. Im trying a few alternate methods to speed them up, the first is to try and optimise the loading of the pet images that load below each post.  Whos pets are these? Please can you leave a comment and let me know if you have noticed a difference with the speed of the forums [[even if it a minor change of only a few seconds]] This is specifically within the View Topic page, -- which lists all the posts within a topic Thanks  ~Nate

IST The buying portion of the Scrap Shop has been reopened for Black Friday Deals!  The selling side will be closed for the duration of the event, to avoid massive IcePoint creation from nothing. Those who took part in this type of action, you still have a chance to come clean. I will find out anyways if you did, so send me a message to make this easier for you.

IST A recent scrap shop exploit has come to my attention. Any player using a macro is subject to lose their account, and any player taking advantage of an exploit (manually or by program) will also be banned. It is our fault that the exploit is present, but that does not give the right to take advantage of it. The problem is the large amounts of IcePoints entered into our economy. The problem will be corrected soon. Send me a message and come clean to have the IcePoints removed if you want to keep your account. If you try to hide, you will be banned. We will be checking the scrap shop logs soon, and taking action from there.

IST One of the voting sites that were giving us poor results has been removed, two new voting sites have been added, and the reward has been changed to 2 IceCash per vote. IST  Considering the lack of interest in the Pink Snow Jar, it has had a drastic reduction in price. Can be found in the Token Booth.       ALL pet based plushies are now stocking in the Toy Shop! Previously the pet plushies were only available from the Plush-O-Matic daily, and this with the Plushie Quest caused a massive inflation of plushie prices. This should help to stabilize the prices.

IST We have a bunch of new updates for you today. The main referrals page now shows an All Time High Scores and a Monthly High Scores, top ten for each.  Show up on the monthly list at any time for this avatar! We found out that since we had the registration reprogrammed there was a problem that made referrals not register as pending. It has been fixed, tested, and is working properly. You probably seen the Limited Stock box sitting empty in the ICE Shop for some time, it now is able for us to use for monthly limited item releases. You can see it in operation right now with the six low cost Halloween items, to retire at the end of November.  Below the Limited Stock is a convenient Paypal Buy IceCash button.  A new avatar has been hidden on IcePets, funded by Maggai through our Fundraiser page.

IST Scrap Shop is back and completely reprogrammed by Nate!  The right hand side shows the Best Deals available to you, for both selling and buying. Buying an item calculates savings for you, based on multiple factors (see them yourself), and displays them to you. Any item in your inventory can be sold to the Scrap Shop for a portion of the estimated value. Got an overstuffed inventory? Find the Scrap Shop in the Features section of the Games page.

IST  The cost to disown a pet has been lowered to 2,000 IcePoints. Under the Explore tab, click Adopt a Pet to find the options to Create a Pet, Disown a Pet, Adopt a Pet, or View Pet Colors.

IST As you may or may not have noticed, Lolly hasnt been online in a few days! NO NEED TO WORRY! Shes simply moving, and getting her internet set up.  Because of this, the Member of the Month awarding has been delayed slightly. In other news, the Golden Touch has had a little tweaking done. The hardest part of getting items from the Golden Touch should be earning the millions of Ice Points it takes to buy them. Not waiting for the item you want to stock.    Therefore, all the items (Except for food items, which need to remain Rare to stay Gourmet) have had their rarities set to Incredibly Common. The max amount of stock for the shop has been raised, and the restocking interval has been lowered. If this setup proves to be worthless, it may be tweaked again, but lets just see how it goes for now.

IST I have always been on edge about this, whether or not to actually have items retire. Upside to items retiring: You can always feel safe knowing there wont be a rerelease of the item that drives down the value of the item. Downside to items retiring: The item may become very difficult to near impossible to find as time goes on. Upside to items annually rereleasing: If you want to get an item that was once limited released, you know you can get it next year with relative ease. Downside to items annually releasing: If you save the item in a collection, it will end up devaluing each year. The item also will not be as special, as it can be obtained again the year after. I really want to get all the input I can on this, to make the best decision I can, so please comment on this news post with your open thoughts and feelings on the matter. Thank you!

IST As many of you know, every book on IcePets is given a unique story for you and your pet to read. The story of the book Pumpkin Carving is now live, thanks to the writing of Lycan! Here is a sneak peak of the book story:  Mmm, pumpkin!
Johnny the jakrit was in the kitchen getting ready for Halloween. His favorite festivity was carving pumpkins. The aroma of fresh gourd swept through the room as he gathered the insides out with an ice cream scooper.
What should I make this year? It has to be absolutely spooky! he said to himself. Last year he created a vampire, the year before that a black cat, a the year before that, a werewolf. To be perfectly honest, he never made the classic pumpkin face! When he realized this, he gave a small hop in utter glee.
Wielding his carving tool, he....Read this book to your pet to finish the story. You can find Pumpkin Carving in the Referral Store. If you already read the book to your pet, go to your Library.
