IST    It's that time again! Wherever you are in Terrafrost, head to the nearest voting booth and cast your vote for Member of the Month ( MOTM for short)! Terrafrostians can vote for up to three users to win 100,000 IcePoints and the Member of the Month Avatar.  Two winners will be chosen each month. One lucky new winner will be honoured with Yet to Win MOTM, for those who have yet to be recognised for their community contribution. Then there is the Free for All MOTM, which includes all members except Staff, for those long-time members who deserve another tip of the hat. For those who have already won MOTM, you will receive the Honoured Member Trophy. IST Did you think we were done? Jacob from the Frozen Collectives Emporium has been hard at work designing and ordering one last batch of five new collectibles, and this one's for all the gamers out there.    Make your save checks, track your health points, fight enemy troops, and close eldritch portals with the Nebula Dice Set, Marble Dice Set, Metal Dice Set, Colourful Dice Set, and Classic Dice Set. These are all collectible Ice Cubes and are now requested by the Snowman Quest. May you roll many critical hits and dodge all your enemies' blows!   In one final bit of news, we are excited to announce that @ IcePrincess has taken on increased responsibility as our Head Moderator! Additionally, @ Quil will be taking on Administrator responsibilities. Be sure to stay up-to-date on all Staff changes now and in the future via the Staff list linked at the bottom of every page.

IST The Glacia printing presses have published the latest set of volumes for Terrafrostians to enjoy. Ralph's shelves at the Book Store are now stocking six new titles for your to-read list.   A new detective is on the case with her first two mysteries: Clarice Clueson and the Second Haunting and Clarice Clueson and the Missing Diamond.    There also seem to be a few torn pages floating around. Maybe you can piece together the Lost Diary Page 2, Lost Diary Page 6, and Lost Diary Page 13.  Finally, put your feet up (or leave them on the ground) for an adventure with Vertical Values. All six of these books will now be requested by Penelope in the Book Quest, so you may want to get in line when the Book Store opens! Have fun reading.

IST Well done, Terrafrostians! After many days of mad scrambling to acquire all those items for the Quest givers -- the Site-Wide Questing Contest is complete!   At the beginning of the contest, The Weapons Trido asked everyone to complete 10,000 quests for the main prize -- and by the end, everyone's combined efforts led to your completing 42,325 Quests! That is a massive and impressive number! Because of your hard work, Thirteen Stretch Goals were also unlocked. You can see the rewards from every goal on the Goals & Prizes page!    All Users who signed up for the contest and completed enough quests to qualify can pick up most of their prizes from the Collection page. ( A few of the stretch goal prizes will be sent out manually to individuals in the near future.) Additionally, the next Pet Colour vote and Book suggestions are both closed. Keep an eye out for information on how to vote for your favourite Book ideas soon! IST    Are those Ice Cubes or building blocks? One thing is for sure, if you made a house out of them, you'd be awfully cold.   Maybe you can use them to house your Frozen Wisps, because the Frozen Collectives Emporium is stocking another new batch of five Ice Cubes. You can now find the Oak Wood Ice Cube, Sakura Wood Ice Cube, Mahogany Wood Ice Cube, Birch Wood Ice Cube, and Walnut Wood Ice Cube for your collections. Like other Ice Cubes, these will also be requested by the Snowman Quest from now on.

IST You've done it! All of the Questers have managed to complete a total of 10 stretch goals. Congratulations on this amazing achievement! As a reward, 2 new Items have been added into each of the Quest Prize Pools!     The brand new Chocolate Overloaded Candy Apple and Candy Muddy Buddies can be found as prizes from the Candy Quest. IST It's time for a big batch of User-requested Items, of all shapes and sizes!  To join the other two recent Love Cupcakes, @ Mongolou has also funded the gorgeous Golden Raspberry Love Cupcake. Like its brethren, this cupcake can be found at Sugar Rush and will be requested by the Candy Quest.    @ IcePrincess requested a set of six new Items, starting with a series of commemorative action figures, the Super Monkey Action Figure, the Covert Terrafrost Hero Action Figure, and the Frosty Terrafrost Hero Action Figure. These go-getters will be available from Samuel's Toy Store and requested by the Space Quest.    Also funded by IcePrincess, allow us to introduce the all-important Net Security, the scrumptiously sizzly Spicy Loaded Nachos and the high and mighty Imperial Ice Cube. Respectively, these can be found from the Book Store, Food Mall, and Frozen Collectives Emporium; they will be requested by the Book Quest, Space Quest, and Snowman Quest.          Speaking of Ice Cubes, @ Silvy funded a whole new set of Ducky Ice Cubes, obtainable through the Ice Box. These colourful cubes come in nine varieties: Yellow, Blue, Green, Grey, Light Blue, Orange, Pink, Purple, and Red. With the exception of the Red Ducky Ice Cube, they will be requested by the Snowman Quest. IST    It's a cool autumn breeze, and from it, the Frozen Collectives Emporium has distilled five ethereal wisps into delicate, sparkling teardrops.   The Frozen Sleepy Wisp, Frozen Angry Wisp, Frozen Happy Wisp, Frozen Sorrowful Wisp, and Frozen Shy Wisp are now available to add to your Ice Cube Collection, and will also be requested by the Snowman Quest. Wouldn't it be lovely if there could be a tribute to all you Questers and the help you've provided? The Warrior Trido and his Misty Isle friends have arranged for a Glacia publisher to print 5 new Books in honour of the occasion, chosen by you, the Users! All you creative types, toss your suggestions for story ideas onto this News post. Any genre or subject is fair game. You don't have to figure out the details or write it yourself; all you need is any story suggestion, which the Editor team will turn into a full Book. You have until September 17th 23:59:59 to post your story ideas, and then they will be organised into a public vote. If you have more than one idea, feel free to post as many as you like. The top 5 voted ideas will be sent to the Glacia printing press and released in the near future! Note that only ideas deemed workable and appropriate for IcePets will be considered for the vote. If your idea isn't included, it doesn't mean it's not a good idea, but it might not be right for IcePets at this time! IST  The Terms and Conditions have been updated today. The IcePets Staff recently deemed necessary to update the Terms and Conditions for better clarity, readability, and overall to improve the rules to better reflect the site and its community. To achieve this, several changes were made in terms of format and wording, including: - the capitalisation of relevant words or expressions, such as 'the IcePets Staff' - the addition of a link to the Support Site whenever it is mentioned - the removal and/or correction of outdated examples - the clarification of terms such as 'inappropriate' - the addition or removal of extra spacing in-between sections - changes in the placement of complementary information Some rules and Infraction Point estimates have been updated as well, including: - the addition of a rule about 'bumping' threads - the removal of an obsolete rule about posting in threads that are over one year old - the division of the rule regarding inappropriate Usernames, Pets, Galleries, or Shops, into two (separating Usernames from the others) - the reduction of the base Infraction Points awarded when sharing Trivia answers Please make sure you read the updated Terms and Conditions , and are thus aware of the conditions governing the use of IcePets.com.

IST The third Stretch Goal has been reached! The Warrior Trido is proud of his battalion of Questers, and Penelope is absolutely beside herself with gratitude. In celebration, the IcePets Staff will be releasing two more Pet Colours -- of your choosing! IST  With the addition of the brand new Book Quest, we wanted to make some changes to the Shops, Quests, and some Item values and rarities. Since there are too many changes to list out individually, we will only be posting some examples of adjustments we've made.    You may notice that some NPC Shops are restocking more often than before. If you watch carefully you may even notice that the Shops will be restocking more Items before clearing their stock! For example, the restock countdown for Frozen Collectives has been changed from 6 minutes 30 seconds to 4 minutes, and the shop will restock more than double the total number of Items before clearing its stock!    We have updated the values and rarities of over 100 Items. Our goal was to make Quests that ask for Rare and Super Rare Items more profitable. We also lowered the rarity of some Items making them easier to find, while still being worth the same amount of IcePoints. For example, the Shield of Draga Volcanoes and Bluegreen Balloon have had their rarities changed from Super Rare to Rare. While some Items like the Book of Events, Rave Ridix Cupcake, and Plushie Xephyr Plushie have had a massive increase in Item value.    All Quest prize and request lists have been adjusted! For example, the Plushie Quest is now requesting the Evil Teddy Bear, Black Trido Plushie, and many more. You may get some basic Snow Jars and Tokens as Quest prizes. Some other Quest prize changes include the Candy Quest now offering more Foods as prizes, and the Plushie Quest offering more Toys.  Over the next few days we will be monitoring these changes and making other adjustments as well, so keep an eye out!

IST Can you believe it? Our hard-working Questers have hit the Main Goal, unlocked the Prize Goal, reached for the Stretch Goal, and now, gone above and beyond! The second Stretch Goal has been met!  Thanks to the help of her new friends, Penelope is opening a new section of the Quest Store with a cosy selection of ten sleep-themed Items related to her new Book Quest.   As a token of thanks, she's giving a random Quest Store Item from her section to all Top Tier participants as well as 10 randomly selected participants. IST The Stretch Goal has been met, woohoo! Remember how in the back rooms of the Battle Shop, our hosts fussed about with paints and paper and quill pens? Well, here comes the Baby Traptur with a pair of lovingly-crafted Books.  The Book Quest Request List and Book Quest Prize List will now be available from the Big Red Button, like the other Quest List Books.    And over here, the Warrior Trido and Grooming Stylist have a whole pile of goodies as a welcoming present for Penelope and her new Book Quest.
