IST In just over 4 hours from posting this message, the trophies system (via leaderboards) will be tested out (officially) for the first time. This is the only feature on icepets which hasnt been tested fully.. until tonight. Unfortunately, when the leaderboard winners are trophy-ified, it will be 6am my local time, therefore I will not be online to administer the event incase it does not happen smoothly. This is just a heads-up => If trophies/prizes are not awarded correctly at midnight, I will be on asap tomorrow to rectify everything. On the other hand, if everything does go smoothly, i will be on tomorrow asap to congratulate the winners. PokerPheonix

IST When giving someone an item from your inventory, it no longer instantly appears in theirs and they receive a PM about it. The new system fires an item into Items Limbo while it waits for the recipient to collect it by clicking on the new button that appears in the notification area. Thanks - PokerPheonix

IST Go check out the new games page layouts! You will notice the new fancy Top Scores list that resides next to the games page. The Top Scores list is a live feed, so if you submit a score eligible for a place on the top 10, 5-10 seconds after submitting it, you will see your name appear! - PokerPheonix

Until further notice all broke toys have been retired. This means that there will no longer be any way to obtain them (even from the weapon quest!). Those that are already in existence will not be removed so if you managed to get one, go you!
  
Don't fear, though! These items will return at a later date once the magic that is keeping them from being used is removed and the source of the magic destroyed!

IST   All of the toy and food items are now working properly and should all give happiness or reduce hunger respectively. Enjoy collecting, playing, and eating!

IST A new function has been added to profiles and layout, so that your number of icepoints shown on the left, and pageviews etc on profiles all have commas. So instead of 87246 It will display 87,246 - PP

IST This is a news article to announce the arrival of the new notification system, which you would have seen on the left hand side of the page prior to seeing this news article. Friend requests, new messages and trophy awards are also shown in this area ALSO, Active pet images are also fully working now ^_^ - PP

IST You may now compare your scores with your friends using the links above the leaderboard tables for each game. Simply click switch to Friends Scores and you will be able to compare your score against your friends - PokerPheonix

IST For those of you that havent noticed, or havent heard, you are now able to have a friends list. Within your friends list, you are able to have a top ten list. This top ten is your ten favourite friends. People have been having problems with this feature all week with regards to removing friends glitching up the Top Ten.. I can now announce that this is now fixed and working sweetly! To ensure that no-one else suffers from this glitch, I had to remove everyones top ten.. but feel free to add them back in! - PokerPheonix PS. Thanks Sattainon for the help with testing it!

IST You may now compare your scores with people from around the IcePets world! Simply click Leaderboards on the left hand menu to be taken there. Please note that they are not complete. An addon where you are able to compare scores with just your friends is still being worked on. - PokerPheonix

IST   Well folks, it's that time again! That's right, another new shop has, well, set up shop! Dr. Samuel is very pleased to be able to offer you a wide range of fun, exciting, and colourful things to play with and maim your friends with enjoy!
