IST First, all the items that are called [color] ball in a sock have been renamed to [color] Sock and Ball.  ================== Custom AvatarsA new rule has been added for custom avatars: When requesting a Custom Avatar, you can opt to have no text on the image. If however you decide to have text anywhere on the image, your username must also be visible on the avatar. This is to avoid confusion with Secret Avatars======================= Birthday Cake I have had a few people ask me why they are suddenly receiving it when sending items. Firstly: You receive the item for giving someone an item on their Icepets registration anniversary. There was a small glitch that meant that you could get it by giving to someone on the say they registered. This has now been fixed. Also, now when you receive one, you will also receive a Private Message:

Send me a PM with information on when you purchased and what you did with the item and I will send you the full 2,750 QP refund You may only claim a refund if you purchased the Space Snow Jar for 4,000 QP from the Quest Store. We will be allowing you to PM me (Nate) for the next 48 hours for a refund! 48 Hours from now the Space Snow Jar will reactivate in the Quest Store, and you will no longer be eligible for a refund - no exceptions. === Raffle Store Update === We have removed both the Rave Dabu Morphing Potion and Rave Ridix Morphing Potion from the Raffle Store. They are the worst selling stock of all custom stores! (They are still available via the Historian!)  The Rave Snow Jar has been removed from the Snow Jar Igloo and is now exclusively available in the Raffle Store for 1,000 Raffle Tickets. === Historian Update === All Special MPs that he hands out have been given a cooldown of 30 days. This means that when he has given one to someone, he will not give another of that same item out again until 30 days have passed. We have also bumped up all items in there (other than basic MPs) to a 15 days cooldown.

IST To clear the confusion, I am going to post an avatar solution; The avatar Frozen Marathon must be obtained by creating 60 different Ice Cubes from the Ice Box within any 24 hour period (EG, between 10am yesterday and 10am today). To show you how many you have done within a 24 hour period, we have changed the times from text (10 hours ago) to exact times (10h, 31m, 14s ago). We have also added a number under My Stats which shows how many you have created within the previous 24 hour period. We have also added a list of which avatars you are left to unlock using this feature. We also added a few.. extra little things to point you in the right direction when trying to earn another of the avatars Hope this helps!

Voting ends at 11:59PM May 27th! ====================== Freezer Clarification ( For the technical-minded) Some users have asked why the Freezer data cannot be transferred to the Ice Box, and have said that it is not fair that they have to freeze rare items that they have done previously. Well, unfortunately, the only information that we logged about the Freezer was the total times each item had been converted. Please see the screenshot below:  On the left you can see the table names (Layman: table = folder within a database). You can clearly see there is only one table (folder) for the freezer content. On the right, at the top you can see that we are selecting the content to show, and underneath it lists each item+cube item ID (item_from, item_to) number along with the number of times each has been converted (popularity). Hopefully this sheds more light on this issue - basically we did not previously record how many times an individual had used this feature, hence we are not able to transfer it. ====================== More Ice CubesI didnt add these to the news post yesterday, and most of you have noticed already, however I would also like to announce that Hornbuckle has done a fantastic job of drawing the remaining Snow Jars and Jakrit Eggs as their Ice Cube variant so that we have full sets of content! Thanks HB!                                  ========================== Shopping Ice CubeTo make sure that this midnight-awarded Ice Cube, I set the system to award to me to ensure that it was working correctly. After a few tweaks yesterday, I can confirm that today it is working great, and will now award every day to the person who spends the most in NPC Shops. You will receive the following message:  Do you think we should add a message for the Flaming Ice Cube and the Rainbow Ice Cube? Say so in the comments!

IST We are proud to release our newest permanent feature; the Ice Box!  Drawn by Hornbuckle  You can select an item from your inventory to place into the box and if the item can be made into an Ice Cube ( hint: Check your cube collection!) you will get the Ice Cube version. If there is no Ice Cube variation you will get a good old:  Melting Ice CubeEach time you freeze an item, there is a wait time while the box refills. You can choose to wait until the timer gets to 0, OR you can pay Ice Points to speed it up The wait time increments by 60 seconds each time you freeze an item, however it resets back to 0 at midnight. There are 6 new avatars that can be earned from this feature! IST      We have just updated 80 Ice Cubes. The changes can be simple things such as a value change, to more complex things such as completely changing the name, or location where it is obtained from. For those interested, you can view/download the text file here.         The reason for this is to make way for an unreleased feature, and to ensure that Ice Cubes are available in a fair, but challenging way for everyone. We have only done what is on this list. Every other Ice Cube (or things that have not changed) are not listed.

- She really helped me out a lot on this site when I was new here. Besides the personal stuff, I know she did a great job by helping people out with the Jakrit Hunt. She is a nice girl who I think deserves to be member of the month.

Up until Easter 2013, you were able to spend Easter Credits on this item in the old Easter Store to instantly receive a random Jakrit Morphing Potion. This included Jakrit MPs being available elsewhere (Some Stores, Historian, etc)... This item has now been REVAMPED ( Thanks Hornbuckle!):  This item has the same name ( Randomly Picked Jakrit Morphing Potion) however, now you can actually OWN one for yourself ZOMG! We have removed all Jakrit Morphing Potions from the Historian and Stores, and now the only way to obtain a Jakrit Morphing Potion is by using this item. When we release new Jakrit Morphing Potions they will still follow the usual release pattern and be made available in the ICE Shop and the Snow Jar Igloo for a short period of time, however once they are removed from those stores, they will not be added to the Historian. This item automatically has future new Jakrit Morphing Potions inside its reward pool from the moment they are released, so anytime we release a new Jakrit MP, this single-use item will have the chance to randomly award one to you! This new item will ONLY be available during ALL Easter Events from 2014 onwards (obviously we will have you jumping hoops to get it  ), however we will make it available this month May 2013 in the ICE Shop for 500 IC, and in the Snow Jar Igloo for 50,000 IP. Have Fun with this gamble! Also, all MPs and SJs currently in the ICE Shop have been moved to the Limited Section.

IST Happy Cinco de Mayo! Here are some lovely avatars for some lovely users! Read and all her spectacularness has produced four custom avvies and Brad has also provided a sweet one for a staff member. Let us take a look...  HybridTheory has got a new Rainbow Factory avatar to show off in the forums!  Kashmir has got their Love Ridix waggling his eyebrows at us...what a ladies man!  Melriah has very sweetly requested this avatar for Misterchia, as the moon sets, the sun rises.  Cameo has a marvelous dripping Halloween themed ice cream cone to wave about the forums! A very lovely surprise, if ya ask me. :3 Those little pretties were all done by Read, and now the following avatar was done for NATE by Brad! Woot!  Glorious. That is all for now! IST    This is a small news post to inform you guys that we have reduced the price of Snow Jars from 1,300 IC down to 899 IC, and Morphing Potions have had their prices reduced from 800 IC to 599 IC. These prices are permanent and will be the price of all future Morphing Potions and Snow Jars that are added to the ICE Shop.

IST Hey all, We hope you had fun participating with the Easter Hunt! We just awarded this trophy and avatar to everyone that participated!   Join in again next year for more hunting! The Plastic Jakrit Eggs that were available - we have now added to the I.C.E Shop for 25 IC each. This will allow anyone who missed out on the Eggxtreme Basket Filler avatar to work towards it! ----------------- ICE BatchThe following items have been added to the ICE Shop for 400 IC each (360 IC for gold members!)      ------------------ We moved server this week. Unfortunately that now means we are experiencing difficulties with scripts known as Cronjobs. These are files that run automatically at certain times of the day. This affects the following areas: - Decreasing pets hunger/happiness - Weekly Trophies - Password Resets - Book/Beauty Trophies - Trades Processing - Daily Midnight Reset Obviously the important one here is the Daily Midnight Reset. Our host cant seem to figure out the issue, so while they are investigating it, I will have to manually run this script every day between midnight - 5am to ensure that everything resets. Rest assured we are working diligently to get this issue resolved! Unfortunately this has also affected some users who have a gold account active. If you have an issue with your Gold Account send me a PM with your issue
