If you guessed that it had something to do with quests...well...you were RIGHT! If you haven't done your quests today, might I suggest heading on over and popping a visit to those needy Quest Givers?

Did you notice yet? Quests are a bit different now! Instead of asking for one item, Quest Givers now ask for anywhere from 1 to 3 items per quest! This potentially means...increased prizes! YAY!
In addition, the items that all quests ask for have been updated...as well as the rewards they give you for helping them out! Give some quests a try!
Some more programming! @Judda fiddled around some more: now you can remove friends/pending friend requests and delete storage bins! Just a warning: deleting a storage bin will NOT return the 100 Storage item to your inventory.
That's all we have for you for now...but we're not quite done with our Quests just yet. Keep checking back to see what else we have in store for you!

I told you a bigger storm was coming! And it's caused by our newest revamps!!
Allow me to re-introduce...

We've actually been holding onto these revamps for a little while...and were drawn by our good friend @Vermillion!!
Alongside the revamped pets come the revamped Morphing Potions! Take a peek!
The Storm Sharshel Morphing Potion and the Storm Traptur Morphing potion were both created by our talented @Remlyn! Both potions will be found in the Snow Jar Igloo for a hefty 50,000 iP each. The Storm Sharshel Morphing Potion and the Storm Traptur Morphing potion can also be found in the I.C.E. Shop until the end for only 500 IC! 450 IC for Gold Members! Snag them fast! They will only be located in these locations for the month of September! Afterwards, they will only be found in Treasure Chests!
What is this? The Storm Snow Jar didn't want to miss out on all the fun! So @Remlyn gave it a make-over as well!

Along with some minor bug fixes (that you may or may not notice!) he has now managed to sort out our Password Retrieval system! Have you forgotten your password? Requirements:
Moderators are paid in IceCash They must be well acquainted with our rules page and be able to enforce them. Moderators should familiarize themselves with any rule changes by the time they are released. Moderators must know their way around the forums. They need to be able to resolve issues via the forums and via PM, and know when an appropriate time is to step into a difficult situation on the boards. They need to be able to make decisions based on the facts, and without bias. Staff members communicate via Skype. Applicants need to be willing to create account, if they do not have one already.
All staff members report to our Staff Manager, @Read.

While none of the users have been rude to one another and no inappropriate words have been used, the tension is clear. What do you do? 2 - A user is being rude to other users on the forum and needs to be sent a friendly reminder to stay civil. You're worried this user might become irate if you say the wrong thing, how do you remind them to be more friendly towards other users? 3 - A heated debate quickly dissolved into name calling and an argument between two users. You popped in with a public reminder, locked the thread, and both users involved received warnings. One user responds, angry about his warning and demanding to know the punishment for the other user. What is your response?

Remember that storm I mentioned last time?! It's here!! This gorgeous weather-controller was requested by none other than @Wonderrabbit and was drawn by the fantastic Miss @Donkaccino!
Where do you get it, you ask? Well if you haven't heard, Jakrits are quite rare! Normally you would only find this MP in the Randomly Picked Jakrit Morphing Potion, but for the rest of this month, you will also find it stocking in the Snow Jar Igloo for 30,000 IP! For the remainder of this month it will also be stocking in the I.C.E. Shop for 500 IC! (450 IC for Gold Members!)

Speaking of Jakrits...for the sake of consistency we have decided that ALL Jakrit Morphing Potions shall be found exclusively in the Randomly Picked Jakrit Morphing Potion...and nowhere else. (Except, of course, for the time during their month of release!) So the Space Jakrit MP and the Pirate Jakrit MP have retired from the Quest Store and Token Booth respectively. The Randomly Picked Jakrit Morphing Potion will only re-appear during future Easter Events, so keep it marked in your calendars!
You may or may not have noticed...but our beloved @Judda has been fiddling! We've been spending some time in the Ideas & Suggestions forums and @Judda has implemented FOUR new updates:
- There is now a Mark All as Read button at the very top of the Boards Home page. This will clear ALL unread boards at once! - As requested, you will now be warned when you are using a beauty item, or reading a book to your pet that has already been used on them before. - The Shop Searcher now allows for extra spaces. - Banned users have been removed from coming up in the Trade Search

Hello again everyone! It has been a busy and productive first couple days under new ownership, I am happy to say! I have popped over to give you some announcements!

Good Morning Everyone,
As you might have noticed by now, @Speedie is no longer an administrator on the site. Due to some personal commitments she was no longer able to give the site the attention that it both required and deserved. That is where I come in.
I have purchased Icepets from her and will be taking on, with the support of the staff team, the day-to-day running of the site. But not only that, I will also be the programmer working on the recode and the maintenance of the current site.
I am fully aware that as of right now activity has died down a fair bit because of the recode and lack of updates on the core site. So, I am here to tell you that going forward this will not be the case. I will be doing my best to tackle both projects at the same time in order to keep you guys happy and updated about the recode.
With that I would also like to welcome @Osteology onto the Admin team. She has always been an invaluable asset to the team and will continue to be that as an Admin of the site.
I look forward to hearing from you guys about anything you have to say about the site and over the next few weeks I'll be reviewing suggestions made on the forums as well as ideas passed around between some of the staff in order to figure out what we should be implementing to make your experience at Icepets a great one.
Please Note: All of the lovely loyal staff members will be maintained, so no need to worry about that
