IST The referral contest will be ending tomorrow at midnight! Positions 4-10 in the high scores are still in close competition! Two nights ago ended the donation drive where we decided to give 50% of IceCash sales to the Waupun Animal Shelter. I will be adding up the total, announcing to you all soon, and handing the money to them in person.

IST New profiles that are to replace the current profiles are now active. They were designed by Lolly and were programmed by me (Nate). The previous profiles page now automatically forwards you to the new profiles page. The links to the various areas (Stamps,Cubes, Trades etc) will be added soon, but temporarily the categories are unclickable. Also, another update will be released soon which will make them oh-so-much-more-cooler  Let us know what you think in the comments =) ~Nate

IST GRAND OPENING!  Bob has been overwhelmed with stock!  Bob says, "I WANT IT GONE! NOW!" He will be donating a bunch of his old desserts to Alyson so that she can fulfil her dream of expanding her store!  Alyson says, "I've decided to rename my store along with the expansion. IST The Chocolate Lover has noticed something different on the Shop Searcher...          There seems to be a surplus of Gummy Lips being sold here...Alyson! What is the meaning of this!?  Yeah, dude, Ive been stocking these things for days...Users just cant get enough of them! I must have these for myself...Users of Ice Pets! Bring me these...These Gummy Lips...And you shall be rewarded! Yes, there is an excess of Gummy Lips in the economy. To balance this out, the Chocolate Lover has began requesting them for his quests and their rarity has been raised to prevent overcrowding of the Candy Shop. Thank you guys for bringing this to our attention! We dont know about these things unless you tell us!! Keep the feedback coming!

IST  *waves* I'm back from my break and ready for action! To begin, I'd like to welcome Speedie back to the team. Speedie will be in charge of minor user glitches, support tickets and database updates. All user problems should now be directed to our new mod department.. Please welcome Ivan, Conquer and Dante to the team! Our talented Head Writer, Joy will be giving them full training. Joy is actually also a site moderator and has loads of experience in this department. She will also be making the final decision on which moderator will make the cut as Head of the department!  We also now have an Official Staff List located in the General Discussion forum. And finally, all Custom Avatars will be completed over the next few days, huzzah!

IST We decided to give 50% of all money from IceCash sales made between March 14th and March 21st to my local animal shelter. The money donated goes to buy food, water, vaccinations, spay/neuters, heat, electricity, advertising to find families, and any other costs associated with caring for and adopting out these cats and dogs. All staff are volunteer. IST So you all know, Lolly is taking a short 1-2 break from IcePets. Please be patient with your moderator applications and custom avatar requests until she returns. It is a much needed time off.   These two new battle items are here thanks to Whoat using the Fundraiser page. Vermillion made Mysterious Victorian Key to precisely match a sketch Whoat drew. Romance made Strange Key in a similar fashion. You can find them both stocking in the Battle Shop.  Remember the Land Map Fundraiser for Meteora is still going on, and so far is 38% to the goal thanks to three amazing people!  You might have noticed internal server errors popping up every now and then, rest assured Nate is working with our host to figure out what the issue is and solve it.

IST This groovy new 60s Makoat was discovered roaming IcePets by Kirsty.   60s Makoat Morphing Potion was spotted in Golden Touch and the ICE Shop. Thought you all might like to know, Vermillion is back to making art for IcePets. Verm made the morphing potion, and Romance made the pet.

IST Some items in the past that were supposed to have their rarity changed to Special Event (for seasonal items), or Retired (for retired items), were still sitting with their old rarity. I updated the rarity of the ones shown below, this will also prevent the Beauty King from awarding any of them. If you know of any more that need a rarity update, please post it here in the news comments. Thanks everyone. If you see any more written on the How To forums that you think should be made into official guides, suggest it in these news comments.
