IST  Hey everyone! If you notice a few less updates as normal, do not fret! We have a bunch of tasks that we are working on, but everything is taking a bit more time than expected.  You can now get this beautiful Baby Wulfer from the I.C.E Shop, or, for the next TWO DAYS, it will be restocking in the Snow Jar Igloo. After that it will be exclusive to the I.C.E Shop and referral shop!

IST Well, the server change is taking longer than expected. If you cant log in for the next 12 hours. Dont worry, as it is occurring with everyone. Our old server isnt communicating with our new server yet. We will delete or update this post once it has been fixed  . Keep on waiting! We are almost done with this whole confusing fiasco of a server swap :p.

IST  Hey everyone, great news! We have completed our upgrade to our own Virtual Private Server. We now have lightning fast speed, and you shouldnt notice any lag when playing Survivor, friend requests, and the few other areas of the site that started to lag! We are about to launch a big Google AdWords campaign as well, which should help IcePets quite a bit with new users . Also, if ANYONE had any errors with this server transfer, PLEASE submit a support ticket so we can get this fixed! It seems though as if most everyone has been corrected, as we did a roll back to Early morning on April 27th. P.S - Any \\\'log on\\\' problems will be fixed within the next 12 hours. This is mostly just an issue with the server transfer, as it will not work for some people yet for upto 12-24 more hours.

IST  Hey everyone! Great news! We are switching to a bigger, better and much faster server! This is perfect timing as we near the release of our battle arena and the plethora of events that will follow in the coming weeks! April 26th at 12:01 AM CST the server switch will be started and may take upto 4 days. During this time well be developing all of our plans for what we intend to do over this summer to keep all of our users happy. I hope everyone else is as excited as we are, as this means serious business for IcePets and we get to watch our community build and build before our eyes!

In order to shift the attention off those cute and fluffy Easter jakrits and onto himself, he has found some snazzy items of his own to tempt you with.      Is it working? Are you tempted? UPDATE: Astro Crichton has been seen waving a piece of a newspaper around. Maybe if you're lucky, he'll let you have it.

IST The Easter Jakrit was jealous of so much attention going to Gourmet Food Collection, he wanted it all for himself, and out of that jealously stole these three items away from the collection. Fortunately some users spotted this and we were able to take them from him before any more harm was done. They are back as part of the Gourmet Foods Collection, as they should be.

IST Two new Pirates have found their way to IcePets! Audril and Cobron now can be changed with the Pirate Snow Jar. Alternatively, morphing potions are another way to get these pirates. Audril and Cobron Morphing Potions can be bought in the Easter Jakrit Shop for 65 CR.   Pirate Snow Jar is no longer in the Easter Jakrit Shop., but you can get it in the Token Booth and ICE Shop.  By the way, the glitch involving the Pirate Snow Jar was fixed just before this release. Enjoy!

IST  Two new rules have found there way into the Terms and Conditions of IcePets. *Searching for unreleased images, pages, information, and any other kind of unreleased site content, is strictly against the rules; including the sharing of unreleased content. This rule is only void when given permission to search or share unreleased content by an Admin of IcePets. *Forum topics must relate to the forum description, so that players who are browsing topic titles will know what the discussion of each is.

IST     Prices of rare and super rare stocked Ice Cubes, have had their prices raised in shop to more appropriate amounts (between 10,000ip and 20,000ip depending on which). Some others have been lowered to a more appropriate rarity and price. Soon you will be seeing more updates to the Ice Cube collection feature.

IST  You voted for a Debate forum to be brought to IcePets, and it is here now. This is a place for you to debate topics in a friendly and mature manor. If an unintellectual bash is all you got up your sleeve, stay out of it.  In the vote for the Debates forum, there was a lot of suggestion to also bring a forum for players to get help with schoolwork and for language practice. Language practice, schoolwork help, homework help, are together in this forum. Schoolwork Help is here! Also in the vote was the removal of the SPAM Forum. If you get in the mood to SPAM, take it elsewhere. Pointless and annoying messages have no place on IcePets. Baby Dovu Morphing Potion, in the ICE Shop, has been raised to the price of 700IC. You even got a couple extra days past the originally said 72 hour deal at 500IC.   Two new avatars have been hidden for you to find! Discuss, in the comments section of this news post, how you think the avatars can be obtained. You might have noticed that when attempting to click onto a forum page, other than page 1, you go right back to page 1. Forum pages are working as they should now. The referral store was closed for some updates to the code, and it is now back open!

This particular bird like species has been around since the first month of Development and is now FINALLY being released after a revamp We also have a great cute BABY Color that comes along with the release! Any guess on how to get it? The Baby Dovu Morphing Potion is the key to this secret! Its available from the I.C.E Shop for now and may be available in other ways even sooner! The price is 500 Ice Cash for now, but the price will be raised soon.    Be on the lookout for new Morphing Potions being stocked too!

IST The Ice Jakrit at the Ice Cube Quest decided he did not like giving out stats and IcePoints, and has gone back to solely giving item rewards. Morphing Potions, Snow Jars, and the newly added reward of Tokens.    Remember, the Easter Egg Hunt will only be running for the month of April. If you have have yet to finish, be sure to check your progress at the Easter Hunt page that is located in Easter Central.

IST Hey everyone, the Ice Jakrit over at the Ice Cube Quest revamped a little bit! You can do the quest 8 times a day now, you get more IP for every quest and it helps strictly your max health with your active pet! A few items were removed from the rewards and a few items were added . Restockers - Start stocking ice cubes!  This item will most likely be most profitable .

IST The main inventory page has had a long-awaiting overhaul - programming wise. It has been slimmed down and streamlined and will load very fast for everyone now (regardless of how many items you have). Items now also appear Alphabetically, meaning they can be located faster and easier. Also, the issue with ghost items has also been resolved, however if this ever occurs again, a message will appear in your inventory telling you about it (in which case you can mail me Nate the message) QuickStock is still on the TODO list, and will be added soon - promise Have a great day ~Nate PS. This is just the front inventory page. The use-item page has not been touched.

IST The Freezer is a place where you can take your Plastic Easter Eggs and freeze them into similar collectible Ice Cubes, for free! Cube Quest will only be available for the month of April, and trust me...the rewards are great. The Ice Jakrit at the Cube Quest wants you bring back Ice Cubes, and in return you will be rewarded with Snow Jars and Morphing Potions!  As you probably already notice, thanks to Lolly we have a new Easter themed layout for the month of April!

IST Hey everyone, More things fixed. Individually, they arent news-worthy, however they are so many over the last few hours, we deemed it relevant to keep you informed. ~ New shop owners were seeing an unreleased species as their default user shop keeper, this is now corrected and shows a Wulfer instead on default. ~ Ice Cube prize awards with trophies should be working now, but we will know for sure when trophies are awarded next week. ~ Messaging statistics are now showing correctly on your own Messaging page ~Banned Profiles will now actually say: That username has been banned!. ~You can no longer fill your stamp collection more than 100%. ~Since Valentines Day, the Shop Searcher hasnt been allowing anyone to search for the item Box of Chocolates (Probably because she didnt get any!). Now that she has been included within the Easter Event, she has forgiven us and will search as normal for now on. ~ Completed Referrals were not registering correctly, and were causing errors in various places around IcePets. This is now 100% fixed. Note: The Referral Store has had to closed for a few days while they deal with a small infestation of rodents. It should be back up and running soon within a few days. ~ Nate

IST Hi all, I just want to let you all know, that if you bought an item from the Easter Jakrit Store, yesterday, BEFORE the glitch was fixed, and instead of receiving the item you bought, you received a random coloured Jakrit potion, you can get a free REFUND from me, Nate. All you have to do, is send the Jakrit potion to my account (via the item in your inventory). Ill also need you to send me a mail, letting me know which item you want. I ( Nate) will then send you the item that you wanted. Please note: This is totally optional. You can keep your Jakrit potion if you like. Also, I can only send items when I am online, therefore depending on when you mail me, could affect how long it takes for you to receive your item. Thank you for helping us eradicate the minor bug we had with it. ----------------------- On another note, there is a new poll with the subject The new Jakrit Pet is...!
