IST   Our Staff Team has been working increasingly hard to provide quality updates and events for all of you. Due to the rising amount of dedication and hard work from two particular Staff Members, we announce our new Head Writer and Lead Moderator: Desmond, Head of the Writer Department! Dante, Head of the Moderator Department! It truly is my pleasure to announce this, and of the Staff Teams pleasure to have such hard working and fantastic staff members. IST Some very nice updates were made to the messaging system, along with new emoticons for the forums and messaging. Gold Accounts users are able to have up to 200 conversations in their inbox. Gold Account users can use their post style settings from forum settings in private messaging. You will find a check box in your forum settings to enable font style, font color, and alignment.           These new emoticons are open for you to use in the forums and in private messaging.

IST   This new Ancient Jakrit was funded by the lovely Wonderrabbit, and made by Vermillion. If you want one, read below.  Ancient Jakrit Morphing Potion was added to the Treasure Chest, you can only get it there or in the Snow Jar Igloo. Treasure Chests are awarded along with IC purchases, and can be opened for a randomly awarded prize from a short list of good prizes.

IST Hi IcePets, Some users have experienced a rare glitch when having too many items in their gallery when viewing the Edit Page.  To resolve this I have changed it to show the items in pages, with only 100 items per page. (make sure you update changes before switching pages) A concern was raised as to whether this issue would also affect storage, however I have confirmed that a single storage bin can hold over 1,000,000 items and still function correctly A big Thank You goes to gravity172 for making us aware of this issue. IST Many users have reported seeing various server-related errors recently, I myself have had them, and Im playing cat & mouse trying to pinpoint the problem. I *think* i may have found the root cause, so I have [done-some-coding-stuffs], and now I need your help. Im going to be eyeballing this thread constantly over the next few days. If you get ANY errors like this or this, (OR even SOMETHING ELSE) please,please,please take a screenshot and post it in the thread I mentioned above. If you arent able to take a screenshot or upload, simply copy and paste the message you get. IST Everyone has been given a 7 day grace period on the inventory limit to give you time to manage the items you piled up. Even if you have an overstuffed inventory, you can still manage the items. Your time is now, to figure out what you want to do!

IST Inventories have been given a 50 item cap. For now, this means that if you have more than 50 unique items in your inventory, you will be unable to use them (ie, feed your pet, play with pet, open eggs/pinatas). Quests will still take the items from you, and quickstock/gallery/storage stock will still also work fine. Storage Update Items storage has been updated. EDIT: Default storage is now upgraded from 25 to 100! There are now three items circulating around the Icepets :-    100 Storage, 500 Storage and 1000 Storage The 100 increment can be won from any standard quest that rewards items (Does not include dragon statue or Collector) The 500 increment can be purchased from the referral store for just 4 referral points! The last one for 1,000 slots, (if you are to impatient to earn storage from quests) can be purchased from the ICE Shop for just 475 IC! Future Gallery Update (This is a side-note) There will be more updates to come relating to transferring items between your inventory and gallery. All items in the Uncategorised section will be moved to your inventory in the next few days, and you will see a few changes that will make things quicker and easier.

IST A few more perks have been added to Gold Membership! When visiting the Dragon Statue, you will be automatically directed to the secret area associated with that page! Gold users can now set any Non-Playable Character (NPC) as their own shopkeeper in their shop!  Now everyone can marvel at my beauty! Posting in the forums now results in 2 IC per post! (Up to 20 IC per day.) You can now create up to 50 trades! Gold members are now recognized with a gold star next to their username on the forums, shop searcher, trades, and in private messages! Gold Membership just got a whole lot better, with more to come, so join today! Big thanks to Nate for coding, as well as the rest of the staff and all you users for planning and input! EDIT :- The Forum Games forum no longer awards post count or IcePoints (or the newly added IC)

IST has been hard at work squishing bugs in the Quick Stock feature! Loading in increments of 24 no longer causes a connection error, and you are no longer able to stock more than what you have space for! Just to clarify, if you have room for 10 Items in your shop, you can keep 10 different Items, or 10 of the same Item. You may also notice the loading time has been reduced!  Thank you, Nate!

IST  Messages are now ordered with the newest messages at the top! We will leave a reminder note of this on top of messaging for a few days. Also the pages drop down that appears when 2 or more pages of messages are present was changed to simply display 1, 2, 3, etc linking page numbers. Sometimes players were not even noticing pages being in the drop down. This has been requested more times than I can count on my fingers, for a long time, so we made the change. Thank Nate.

IST I feel the need to remind of this important rule: Transfer of account contents to accounts registered under the same IP, or used in the same household, is allowed only under direct staff approval. This rule means you may not send items to your account from your sister, brother, mother, cousin, and long lost dog, who all happen to be doing their dailies to benefit you.

IST There is now a limit to the number of scarab amulets you may rub per day.  You can now rub a maximum of 20 amulets per day (if you own 20 of them of course!)

IST A funky new secret avatar has been spotted around icepets :-  Also, these 2 secret avatars have been funded by Drew. See if you can find them!   ---- ---- Profile Fixes Profile Views are now working correctly. Thank you to the overwhelming number of people that spotted this error. When you visit someone elses profile, you will increase their profile views by 1. It will then only increase again if you visit them tomorrow. (This is to stop people constantly refreshing to increase this statistic). PS. You cant increase your own profile views (That would be silly!) Shop/Gallery Stock. The number shown for each of these now represents the number of items that you can actually view. Items that are priced at 0 (shops) or are not categorised (gallery) are not counted in this figure.

IST Alyson the Sugar Rush shopkeeper has been having problems with her pie supplier. As it turns out, the truck delivering Prankster Pies slipped on a banana peel and crashed into a whoopee cushion store, causing a toy car full of clowns to be late for their seltzer bottle auction...Anyways, the pies will be in short supply until next April.  Sorry, but that story about the pie truck was just too comical to be made up! In short, Alyson will still be stocking Prankster Pies, just not as often as normal. (:

IST The long awaited Gold Accounts are here! You have the option now to purchase a subscription to an upgraded account. Click the Gold Account link found in the ICE Shop!     The cost is $5 for a month, or $40 for a year. You can pick from 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. 10% Off Ice Shop Purchases Your savings will be tracked and displayed to you in the shop. Trophy  For every month of having a Gold Account, you get a trophy displayed on your profile. Extra Flash Game Plays Normally a flash game has 0/4 daily plays, you will upgrade to 0/6 daily plays. Big Red Button Click the Big Red Button once a day for a prize, exclusive to Gold Account members. Quest books can only be gotten here, they are books that in the story section display to you prize lists and possible requested items for quests. They will auto update for you as they quests update with new items, and become available to you forever in your library. Double Combination Normally when playing Combination, a timer is set to 12 hours for when you can play again. You will be upgraded to play Combination every 6 hours. Triple Cube Grab When playing cube grab, the timer is set to 3 hours for when you can play again. With a gold account, the timer will set to 1 hour. Big thanks to the whole team for pulling this off, and especially to Nate for his developments and Speedie for helping Nate in a big way to make this possible!

IST We have an important discussion going in the Suggestions forum that we would love your input on!  Without needing to feed your pets, theres hardly a reason to. But needing to feed your pets, with consequence (restricted game play when neglecting pets for example), also with it being a tedious boring task, people often leave a site or play less often. So...to help solve a part of this problem, how can feeding your pet be made fun?
