The shopkeepers are overjoyed to announce they reached the goal of 125 million IcePoints! They were able to fund the entirety of Glacia's rebuild and are excited to see you all very soon at the new Glacia shops! It may be a bit messy, as the construction crews are working to clean up additional supplies and snow. Each of our Glacia shopkeepers decided they would celebrate their brand new stores with some fresh, new looks for themselves! Some have even decided to have a completely fresh start and change their names as well. It is recommended that every Terrafrostian heads down to the stores and reintroduce themselves.
Unfortunately, our beloved Bob has decided to step down from running his shop. He is quoted saying how hard it was to weather the disaster and while it warmed his heart to see everyone come out to help, he is just too old to keep going. In his place, his long time friend and supplier Hazel will be taking over the newly named Glacial Grocer. She is very excited to start her new position, so let's make sure we welcome her to Glacia!
For everyone's hard work, prizes will be awarded! As shown on the Event Page, the prizes have been divided into three tiers based on individual performance. The amount of IcePoints you donated to the cause relative to the other participants determines your tier. The prizes will be awarded soon after the event is over!
Top Tier Gold Glacia Rebuilding 2020 Trophy 1 Pet Slot unlocked on your account
1 Collection item of choice added to inventory (No Scarab Amulet or Golden Competitor Stamp) 6 Sets of all basic Tokens (Blue, Bronze, Green, Orange, Purple, Red and Yellow)
Middle Tier Silver Glacia Rebuilding 2020 Trophy 1 Random collection items added to collection (No Scarab Amulet or Golden Competitor Stamp. If collection is full, one random collection item to inventory) 4 Sets of all basic Tokens
Low Tier Bronze Glacia Rebuilding 2020 Trophy 1 Random collection item added to collection (No Scarab Amulet or Golden Competitor Stamp. If collection is full, one random collection item to inventory) 2 Sets of all basic Tokens
As a reminder, the Glacia Rebuilding event will end tonight at 23:59:59 IcePets time. Don't give up just yet however! The shopkeepers also revealed additional stretch goals to help make Glacia even better, so be sure to check out the Event Page and to see what else they have in store!

Following the release of the new Inventory earlier this month, we are very excited to unveil the new Quick Stock page to accompany your new Inventory! This page is a complete overhaul of the old Quick Stock, with new features and functionality. Upon visiting the Quick Stock page, you will be able to view all the Items in your Inventory and use the same searching and filtering features to help make sorting Items quicker and easier. You have the ability to select any Items you want to move, which will give them a blue highlight to indicate that they are currently selected. The Select All button will allow you to select your entire Inventory at once, while the Deselect All button will deselect any Items that you have selected.
You may also use the Category dropdown box to filter your Inventory Items by category or search by name to narrow down your visible Inventory Items. The Select All button has a unique interaction with this feature as well - if you are currently filtering by category or have narrowed down your Items using the search feature, the Select All button will only select the Items which are included in those filtering settings or search terms. As an example, if you filter your Quick Stock by Ice Cubes and click the Select All button, it will select only the Ice Cubes and nothing else.
After selecting your Items, you can choose where you wish to move your Items from the Destinations box on the top of the page. Selecting a location will switch your page to a new view, which will give you a more detailed overview of all your selected Items, allow you to further specify your selections and in the case of your Storage or Gallery, choose which Storage Box or Gallery Section you want to move your Items to. After you are all done, you can finalize your choice by pressing the Transfer Items button!
We hope that the new Quick Stock, along with the new Inventory, will help make your Item management a more streamlined experience! If you are experiencing any issues with the new Quick Stock page, please be sure to report them over on our Site Glitches forum section so that they can be addressed as soon as possible.
In other news, as many of you may recall we had planned to hire a programmer to finish the Alpha site. Unfortunately, with the global pandemic hitting around the same time work could have potentially began, work schedules and sickness caused delays in this progress. However, a solution was suggested to help add progress to the site now rather than waiting for Alpha to be completed.
In June we stopped treating Alpha as a separate project from the live site. Instead Judda began making changes on the live site to connect to the newer coding from Alpha. What does this mean? Rather than trying to maintain and add new features to the live site and on Alpha, we are bringing Alpha over to the live site in pieces. We noted the smaller changes in our change log on June 7th, but wanted to wait for more substantial addition to announce in the news. The new Inventory page is another example of this new plan. As always, we thank all of you for your patience as we make these changes.

We are deeply saddened by recent events, as it seems the rumblings and extra snow piling up were more dangerous than originally anticipated. Deep rumblings and loud noises woke most of Terrafrost last night, as Glacia suffered a terrible disaster. After some further research, it looks like the old mine shafts under Glacia caved in, causing an avalanche that covered Glacia in snow. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
However, many of the buildings were partially or fully destroyed, putting all of Glacia's shopowners in a difficult situation. One of Bob's long time friend and supplier, Hazel, will be visiting Glacia to help her friend and the other Shopowners begin rebuilding. However, due to the massive damages and need for a new foundation, Terrafrosts most popular shopping area is in danger of closing forever. The Shopowners, represented by Bob and Hazel, have issued a statement. They would like to ask for the help of Terrafrostian's in their time of need.
They will be selling what stock they were able to save and what could be delivered after some paths were cleared. All IcePoints spent in Glacia stores will go towards rebuilding Glacia and the stores that were destroyed. The Banker will also be accepting donations, with a capped amount each day. After all, it'll be rather difficult to process too many donations with his Bank building in shambles. Additionally, each day, one Shopowner will have special requests for a few certain items. The regular IcePoint value of the item will be donated to the main goal.
The Shopowners estimate it will take 125 million IcePoints to get Glacia back in working order. This is a huge amount, but they believe in Terrafrost and its wonderful inhabitants! It will take some time for the Shopkeepers to prepare and make sure all pathways are safe. They believe preparations will be competed on August 7th, so please check back!

Patchley expressed concerns about some weird rumbling going around Glacia. It is one of the most popular shopping destinations in Terrafrost, so please be careful if you happen to visit any of the many stores there, like Frozen Collections Emporium or our favourite place to pick up some groceries! Our resident Food Mall owner, Bob, also expressed worry about the strange sounds. He mentioned how he's not very fond of the noise, as it disrupts his sleep.
Do you love writing and would like to see some of your work live on IcePets? We are hiring another writer! Check out our available positions to apply today!
