Nearly 100 items(and counting!) have been added to the request lists on all five of the main quests!
- Samuel is requesting different kinds of toys. - Chocolate Quests are now requesting different kinds of sweets and candy-related items. - Space Quests are requesting all different kinds of foods and miscellaneous items. - Snowman Quests now request various kinds of ice cubes and other snow-related items. - And, a couple more weapons have been added to the Weapons Quests.

Once one month has passed, the Skeletal Wulfer Morphing Potion will become available in the I.C.E. Shop and the Snow Jar Igloo.

Meryl: My papers! You know, the ones with my notes on....Robert, why? Why are you balancing them on your nose?
Robert: Did I ever tell you about the time I ran away from home and joined the circus? You see, I became a ringmaster for koi fish and...
You guys do realize that you're live on the air right now?
Meryl: *Swipes papers* Good day everyone! This is Meryl Xephyr.
Robert: And, *Clears throat* Robert Sharshel.
Meryl: Reporting to you live, here at Channel 5 News. Robert, what do you have for us today?
Robert: Well, as you all know, Daedalus appeared to us the other day on live broadcasting, telling us about how he was assembling his minions and how we should all to be wary of Cecie, our token dabu. If you recall on an even earlier broadcast, an ancient book was discovered on an excavation with the story of how our world was founded.
Meryl: So who exactly are these two people?
Robert: Well, based on the texts we found, there are three Entities, or I guess you could even go as far as to call them gods, and they were all the founders of the world we live in today. Daedalus, the Entity of Flying pets and ruler of the sky. Cecie, Entity of the Ancient pets and ruler of the earth. And another Entity, one of water, who has been dormant since the beginning of time.
Meryl: And what about Daedalus? It feels like Cecie has always been here for us, handing out tokens. But where has he been?
Robert: Dormant as well, it seems! Something must have really stirred him to wake him from his slumber. And it must be big, if he has assembled as many Flying pets as he can. Our reporters tried to get close enough to ask him some questions, but two armed Xephyr fended them off with spears!
Meryl: Not too kind, is he?
Robert: He started to disperse some of his minions across our world as well. I don't know what he is doing, or what he expects to happen, but we can't get close enough to ask. All we know, is that it has something to do with Cecie. But the real question is, who is the real threat here?
Meryl: And that's all the time we have for you today! Tune in to Chanel 5 News next time for all of your updates and commentary on current events.

IcePets is hiring!
We are looking for a Flash Developer to join our expanding team to focus purely on Flash Game programming.
The ideal candidate will be someone relatively new to flash (but capable of creating -and finishing- a small-medium sized game) and is looking to improve and expand their programming skills and knowledge.
You will receive all specifications and direction from the lead programmer (Nate), and you must be able to stay in regular contact with us via Email or Skype.
Your main focus will be the functionality of the games you create - our talented art team will be on standby to create any art required for the finished product, so you dont need to worry about the look and appearance of the game(s).
The programming style and syntax can be done in any way you see fit, provided that it is easy to understand for any future programmers that may look through your code.
Our send score feature is programmed in ActionScript 2, therefore the ideal candidate will be able to program using ActionScript 2 to ensure full compatibility with our system.
Upon project completion, you will be required to send us a completed .fla backwards compatible (if applicable) with Adobe CS5. (Saving it as an earlier version of flash will work just fine also!)
This is a paid position, and payments will be made via PayPal. A price for each game created will be agreed beforehand, however payment will be sent once we have received the working .fla
The Flash Developer selected will become a staff member on IcePets. You will have access to all development/support based discussions, along with receiving a "Gold Account" for the duration of your service as a staff member.

Robert I have a couple things to report, actually. We have more news on the strange sighting, and some other peculiar going-ons.
Meryl: Oh, do tell Robert! Just...just uhm, stay on topic this time.
Robert: Hey, I'm always on topic! Just like that one time in fifth grade when I had to do my report on the origin of cheese. I actually brought in all these different types of cheeses into the classroom for the other students to try. But I had forgotten to put them in the refrigerator the night before, so the following day, almost the entire class was out sick!
Meryl: Robert!
Robert: Oh, right! Sorry Meryl. Anyway! Some of our reporters dove deeper into Haliper Jungles and caught some more glimpses of the creature. We have a vague idea of what it could be, but we have a hard time believing it when they have been said to be extinct for years! Here's the best shot we were able to get:
Meryl: What a peculiar find Robert! I hope that our reporters will be able to get a clearer shot next time, and maybe we can finally squash this mystery once and for all.
Robert: We can only hope.
Meryl: You said you had two things to report to us today, Robert. What was the other?
Robert: Yes! There have been multiple sightings of Flying pets migrating in sheer numbers from all across our world, strangely, all to the same place. Some of which, are clad in armor and spears. Although a lot of Flying pets migrate, it's not like them to be suited up for battle when we don't have much conflict around here anymore.
Meryl: Trouble brewing, Robert?
Robert: That is a possibilty, Meryl. And not one I'm too fond of either. One of reporters was able to listen in on a flying pet as he rested near Haliper during their investigation. He... (cont.)

There are many recent changes to the staff team I think you all would like to know about. These changes have been happening over the past week.
As some of you know, Lolly is no longer with us. Her new full time job takes up most of her time now, and working for IcePets no longer suits her needs.
Head Artist - Vermillion has volunteered to be our Head Artist, and already has been doing a great job managing the art department.
Graphic Artist - Our team is considering some wonderfully talented graphic artists Vermillion has scouted for us.
Staff Manager - Nate has volunteered to head the staff team, and has plans he'll be introducing to our team soon for keeping things organized and productive.
Claws - Some of you know I opened a store last month, and now I'm settled in. That means I have a brick and mortar location where I can work on IcePets and my resale business for 12+ hours a day, 5 days a week, routinely for years to come.
Moderators - Pikabox had to leave the team for personal reasons, and Becky is no longer staff. If you need to contact a moderator, please direct it to Dante (head), Slusserd, Elliesaur or Avalanche.

We all love the pets here on Icepets, and sometimes when we hear about a pet 'revamp' some of use get a little upset because it might be the pet we love the most. However, these things are sometimes necessary to keep up with the new artwork.
Now we need all the users to help us out by helping us make Icepets better. We promise to keep the charm of the older pets in the newer work.
Which pet do you think needs to biggest revamp? It would be helpful if you gave us a reason why. Is it to ugly, is the anatomy a bit off? Please also give us some ideas on how you guys would like to see it.
Now keep in mind this is not a for sure thing. I would just enjoy hearing others opinions on the topic. Please keep it mature, no complaining.
The Xephyr will not be apart of this poll.

During an earlier excavation today, we found a very...peculiar, book indeed. It's frayed and worn, and it could be thousands of years old!
But the story inside of it, tell of a tale even more bizarre than its spontaneous discovery...
Long ago, the world was stirring. It awoke from its unconscious slumber and began to create itself, piece by piece. First it made the sea: a wide expanse of water that stretched across its entire surface. However when it went to create the land and the sky, it conflicted within itself. In the turmoil, it broke away and divided into two entities: one to control the sky and the other to control the land. These two entities took on the form of a Makoat and a Dabu, the former known as Daedalus and the latter as Cecie. With the creation of Daedalus and Cecie also came a Fragment of the Sea, which had been created before the conflict and therefore had not taken a living form. This fragment was lost into the folds of the earth upon its birth, leaving Cecie to create the continents and Daedalus to expand the sky. They also created the very first Icepets in their own likeness; Cecie formed Ancient pets and Daedalus created Flying pets, from whom all Icepets are descended. Even as the world aged and grew, Cecie and Daedalus lived among its people, always maintaining a tense rivalry that had been forged upon their creation.
And somewhere on the face of the earth the ocean fragment remained hidden, waiting to be discovered...
It ends abruptly there. And the rest of the texts are scratched and illegible.
But, what's this....we found something else! Yeah, just move that rock...a little to the left there. Oh..! It's....it's...
