IST   The fiery wrath of war vs. the laid back fun loving peace! Which side will you choose?  Ugh, who even cares??Behold, the awesome might of the Firebreathing Trido, funded by the sweet Tilas, alongside the peaceful natured 60s Sharshel, funded by the 60s themed user Kirsty!   The Firebreathing Trido, 60s Sharshel, Firebreathing Snow Jar, and 60s Snow Jar were all drawn by the speedy, fabulous Vermillion! How do you get them, you ask? For the first week of release, though September 6th, the Firebreathing Snow Jar will be stocking exclusively in the war themed Battle Shop, while the 60s Snow Jar stocks exclusively in the fun loving Toy Shop, both set at Rare rarity. After September 6th, they will move to the Snow Jar Igloo and have their rarities bumped up to Super Rare. These Snow Jars will not be making an appearance in the I.C.E. Shop. IST The fantastic Tokcando has funded our very first special colored Zabeu!! Whack me if you can!This Pet can be obtained by using a Pinata Zabeu Morphing Potion, which is stocking in the Snow Jar Igloo for a mere 5,000 iP! Since the Zabeu is so popular, we've decided to set this Morphing Potion at 'Incredibly Common' rarity for the first month of release.  ...Did I scare ya? I'm just kidding. The only way to get a Pinata Zabeu is to obtain a Zabeu using a Zabeu Totem, and using this beautiful Snow Jar Rose drew for us. +  = Thank you, Tokcando for funding, Vermillion for the Pet art, and Rose for the Snow Jar art! IST  Due to the number of users that decide they no longer want to create/morph a zabeu, there is now the option to Grab your Totem(s) from the rock. This can be done at any stage during the taming (even after stage 3!).  Dont you want to adopt me ;_;What is the catch?The simple act of grabbing your totem(s) will scare away the Zabeu. You must then wait until tomorrow before you can tame again! Remember you can grab your Zabeu Totem from the Plot Store for just 20PP  Disclaimer for new players: All features mentioned in this news post require you to complete Plot #1 (Cecies Disappearance). IST Nate's been up all day/night working to get these updates out!!  By popular request, banned users are no longer showing up on leaderboards! Hunger: Extremely Bloated
Mood: LonelyThe hunger/happiness glitch has been fixed!  When you create a Pet, the color your Pet is is now automatically logged into your Closet! ((It wasn't before, but is now!)) And probably the most exciting update tonight...  If your Pet already has a color/species combination in their Closet, this little error will appear preventing you from using that particular potion on your Pet!!  Thank you Nate!!

IST The following items have been added to the Raffle Store    From left to right: VIP Raffle Ticket, Discount Raffle Ticket, Moon Pie, Raffle Winners ParchmentThe Discount Raffle Ticket can be added to your account (much like an Autopricer) and you will permanently receive 50 ip discount for each ticket you buy - ever. You can use a maximum of 5 discount tickets, meaning a total discount of 250 ip per ticket!!The VIP Raffle Ticket is once again, an account upgrade; however this can only be used once on your account. This upgrade will allow you to purchase and additional 50 tickets every week! The Moon Pie is the much talked about item to fill up those Gourmet Foods collections. The Raffle Winners Parchment is a scroll that tells you all the winners of the raffle - ever. When someone new wins, the Raffle NPC writes their name in this scroll for everyone to see (for all of eternity!) Good Luck with the raffle! IST  The Mystic Rock seems to be functioning correctly after a little re-jigging. Anyone that placed a Zabeu Totem there will now see more information about taming a zabeu. Furthermore anyone that is mid-taming (This is plot OR via Mystic Rock) has had their task requirements completed for them for the stage they are currently on) Technical Stuff:Basically, in the programming of that page, it says something like if the player has a totem in their inventory -> show the pageObviously, since you are handing your totem to the rock... it gets removed from your inventory... which DOES activate your zabeu taming.. however blocks you from viewing the page. ( I had more in my inventory when testing, so i didnt come across this glitch) I believe this has now been fixed. So, my hands in the air - its my fault - feel free to shoot me! (At least nobody has lost any items - as far as I am aware) Mail me if anything regarding the rock is still an issue (It is faster than support ticket or forum posts!) ~Nate

IST A new area has been added to the arcade ( Until a place in a landmap has been found for it). This area is called Mystic Rock, and it is, just that - a rock that is.. mystic? You may recognise it from Plot (We have now added the image to the plot) - Cecie pulled the fragment from it! People have been seen placing their Zabeu Totems at the base of the rock We are still trying to figure out what exactly this rock does, however we are sure that it has something to do with this shiny new avatar:  Some of you may recognize this rock from earlier today...It is the same rock, but it is no longer glitched. (; Extensive testing has been done to ensure everything is working properly, but we are human! If you find a glitch, please report it via the support ticket system or by messaging a staff member. We are aware that a few of you are missing Totems from the glitch earlier today. These will be replaced as soon as possible. Our apologies for the delay.

IST Two brand new user funded Avatars have been added and tested for your unlocking pleasure!   The first one, entitled Token Collector, can be unlocked by collecting some Tokens...    Who would have thought!?The second, called Too Much Tiramisu, has to do with...Well, Tiramisu.  But how much is too much!?Token Collector was funded by the gracious Tokcando, and Too Much Tiramisu was funded by the fantastic Seismitoad! The Cottoncandy Dovu Plushie was found in the Snow Jar Igloo, the Ice Dovu Plushie was found in the Frozen Collectives Emporium, and the Snowdrift Dovu Plushie was found in the Grooming Parlour! They have since been removed, had their rarities returned to normal, and are now stocking in Plushie Mania. The prizes... IST  Congratulations to Nate for getting Staff of The month of the month of August! Nate is the Icepets programmer which means he does all the nice little things that help icepets work for everyone! Everyone give him a round of applause! This months winner was chosen purely buy the staff members! Here are some nice things said about our dear programmer Nate! I vote for Nate, because he's really taken on a big responsibility with staff manager. He takes the job seriously, and he's done all kinds of good for the staff here-going that extra mile to memorize our real names and getting to know us as individuals.
He's been working really hard being staff manager and has a positive attitude.
Nate is such a hard worker and he truly cares about the site. He stepped up to be staff manager after the dramatics and has done an excellent job organizing everyone and keeping people motivated. He's also very open-minded in the way that he always takes suggestions into consideration.
He's been a great leader, mentor and he's done a great job at taking on extra responsibility.Looks like he got this awesome new toy to called an AutoCoder! He can really use this item to help him code! So how could you get one of these awesome items? IST Due to the many, many incorrect answers, I've come to the conclusion that I have not explained the contest properly. All of the Dovu Plushies are stocking in Plushie Mania EXCEPT for three of them. They're stocking in three of the other shops you can find around the site. Your job is to find out which Plushies are stocking in different shops, and where they're stocking. Because I've received so many messages telling me all the Dovu Plushies stock in Plushie Mania, I'm resetting everyone's count. If you've already guessed, and your guess was incorrect, you can have another guess. The Plushies have also had their rarity lowered.         The Colors Page has been updated with the Pets shown above. Sorry for the delay!

IST It's time to announce the prizes for the current contest! Some of you may already know how this works from past contests, but for those who don't, I'll go over how prizes are awarded. There are typically three to five winners of each contest, depending on difficulty and contest type. The first place winner, in this case, the person who sends me a message listing the three correct Plushies and where they stock first, will get to chose from the prize pool first. The second place winner will get to chose from the remaining, and so on until there is one winner left with one prize left. Simple enough, yes? On to the fun part. IST The three random Dovu Plushies have been stocked! You have the following shops to chose from when searching for their locations. There are twelve shops in the world of Ice Pets...In Glacies there is the Toy Store, the Book Store, the Frozen Collectives Emporium, the Food Mall, Post Office, and Plushie Mania. Misty Isle is home to the Battle Shop, the Grooming Parlor, and the Golden Touch. Last, but not least, we have the Snowslide Mountains. They are home to Frozen Treats, the Candy Shop, and the Snow Jar Igloo. Your job is to find where the missing Dovu Plushies stock and message me, Speedie with their locations! YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY THEM!It might be a good idea to buy them, however, so your competitors don't see where they're stocking! Prizes? What prizes? Oh...Those prizes...They'll be revealed later. ;D Get searching, it'll be worth it!

IST Hello there! It's been a little slow lately, ((Aside from the plot, Pet revamp, MOTM, STOM, and other small updates...(; )) so to pick things up, a contest is going to be held. Some of you may remember past contests (( Click, click, click, click.)) but for those of you who are new to the contest scene, we're gonna start off a little slow.            Behold! These are the brand spanking new Plushies drawn by our very own Myst. But hark...Three of them have gone missing from Plushie Mania! It is your mission...No, your duty, to find out which ones have gone missing. Keep this information to yourself, however, as in approximately 20-24 hours, those three missing Plushies will show up in three random shops. What will you do with those Plushies?
