Simply click this wonderful little button, (Give it a quick refresh) and any threads in that board that have been magically whisked away by staff members, or threads you just don't feel like reading will be removed from your unread list. Thank NoBackSeat for the coding! ^_^ And a special shout out to all you obsessive compulsive users who have been driven nuts by this massive spike in unread topics. You guys arent the only ones this has been bothering.

IST Have you declined a friend request recently but the request wont go away? We can now fix this! Simply send a message to Speedie with how many requests you have and they will be removed so you dont have to look at them anymore. ^_^

IST The first rule change can be found under Number of Accounts; It is perfectly acceptable for more than one user to play on the same computer/IP, under a limit of 5 accounts per IP / household. If possible, please use separate email addresses among family members in the same household. Transfer of account contents to accounts registered under the same IP, or used in the same household, is allowed only under direct staff approval. Two rules have been added to the Rules Overview: *Please do not discuss sexual acts with other users. If you feel the need to, take it offsite. *Please do not post topics expressing desire to harm yourself or others. Mail a staff member if you need to talk about something that is bothering you. Rules Overview additions and rewordings were done by Speedie, and executed by Claws. I strongly recommend familiarizing yourself with IcePets Terms & Conditions. Link can be found at the bottom of every page.

IST At long last, the contest entries are about to be posted. Weve had some requests to keep the voting as private, and as anonymous as possible, so following this first post will be the entries in no particular order. There will be no voting poll, so to vote, you will need to send Speedie a message with the entry number youre voting for. The number of each entry will be shown above the corresponding picture. ONLY ONE VOTE PER IP ADDRESS WILL BE COUNTED. Members of the same household will only be able to cast one vote. I apologize for this, but in past contests, users have tried signing up for multiple accounts to vote. You may begin voting after Ive posted the contest entries in the next post. Voting will last until next Thursday, at 11:59:59 pm IST.

IST The past few weeks I have not had internet at home, been using the incredibly slow library internet. If you were wondering about my lack of activity, or lack of progress, this was why. Now I have internet at home again, and it is much faster than even what I had before. I have a busy weekend ahead of me, then will be back in full swing by Tuesday!

IST  Yogi the Stamp Shop Keeper is a bit surprised over the newly announced user shop max prices. You can now price items in your shop for upto 500,000 IcePoints! Yogi hasnt sold too many items over 10,000 IcePoints, let alone 500,000!    Also, check out the homepage for some new polls! Dont forget, you earn IcePoints for every poll you vote on!

IST GuEsS wHaT!? ThE cAsInG of your username may now be changed!! If you created your account with a username like user, it can now be changed to User! Or UsEr, or USer, etc. This is mainly done to capitalize certain parts of usernames...If your username is thisismyaccount, this is your opportunity to change it to ThisIsMyAccount! Much easier to read! This is not required of you, but is being offered as a free service. If you would like to capitalize any letters in your username, simply send a message to Speedie with your requested casing. I CANNOT add or remove letters, numbers, underscores, etc. I can only change what is capitalized. User cannot become User_1, Userr, Use, etc. As mentioned before, this is a free service. Please do not abuse it. This means no daily changes.

Take one of your favorite pets on Ice Pets; Baby Jakrit, Purple Wulfer, Orange Dovu...Whatever. Pick your favorite species, favorite color, and create it in your style. You can draw it by hand, use a program on your computer, paint, sculpt, WHATEVER! Make it your own! Scan it, or take a picture of it and send it to Speedie! PLEASE DO NOT SHARE WITH OTHER USERS! We try very hard to make these competitions fair for everyone. All entries will be submitted anonymously for judging, to prevent any bias. Please, only one entry per user. IST Bob down at the Food Mall was- NO! NU UH! NOT ANOTHER POST ABOUT THAT GUY! This post is about ME. Erm...Alright...Apparently Greg wants some attention. YOURE DARN RIGHT I WANT SOME ATTENTION! This guy gets toast, celery, eggs, and now youre giving him my SMOOTHIES!?!? What the heck! Hm. ... ... ... Greg down at the Frozen Treats Store woke up this morning and decided to wreak some havoc. He stormed down to Bobs store right in the middle of this news post and stole all his Smoothies. Youre darn tootin! ...*Sigh* The Mocha, Lemon, Watermelon, Mixed Berry, Orange, Pumpkin, Tropical Cooler, Strawberry, Lemon Lime, Vanilla, Melon, Rainbow, Grape, Cherry, Caramel, Blueberry, and Blackberry Smoothies all now stock in the Frozen Treats Store. Post their pictures. Im not gonna post their pict- POST THEIR PICTURES!!!!!! ALRIGHT FINE!!                  On a completely unrelated subject, the delivery truck carrying the brand spankin new Morphing Potions slipped on a carelessly discarded banana peel last night. The Tech Traptur Morphing Potion and the Evil Ori Morphing Potion just arrived and are now being stocked in the Snow Jar Igloo.   Again, a big thanks to yellow_fr3ak and mrsgiggles for funding the making of these two Potions!

IST At long last, the prize list has become available!  and 10,000 Ice Points Two Stamps of your choice and 25,000 Ice Points Two Ice Cubes of your choice and 50,000 Ice Points   Two Morphing Potions of your choice and 100,000 Ice Points  and 200,000 Ice Points However, with good news comes some bad news...These contests have become requested so often we have decided to try to make them a weekly thing. With that being said, we may only offer the Scarab Amulet as a prize once a month, to prevent general inflation and devaluation of the Amulet. D: Everyone is allowed to participate in all the contests, but each user may only win an Amulet twice a year. If you win an Amulet once in January and once in February, you are not eligible to win another until next year. On a side note, sort of, please be aware that releasing answers, giving hints, or helping other users along is against the contest rules and may result in disqualification. We try very hard to make everything equal and fair for everyone. Please respect that. (:

IST Wanna play a game? Like the last contest, this will begin exactly 24 hours after this news post. Heres how its gonna go down.  There are eleven shops in the world of Ice Pets...In Glacies there is the Toy Store, the Book Store, the Frozen Collectives Emporium, the Food Mall, and the Post Office. Misty Isle is home to the Battle Shop, the Grooming Parlor, and the Golden Touch. Last, but not least, we have the Snowslide Mountains. They are home to Frozen Treats, the Candy Shop, and the Snow Jar Igloo. Tomorrow, at 4:30 pm IST, eleven items will be released. Here they are. In order, they are the Lemon Lime Smoothie, Lemon Smoothie, Melon Smoothie, Mixed Berry Smoothie, Mocha Smoothie, Orange Smoothie, Pumpkin Smoothie, Strawberry Smoothie, Tropical Cooler Smoothie, Vanilla Smoothie, and Watermelon Smoothie. The Smoothies will be released at the same time, but they will all stock in different shops. Your mission, should you chose to accept it, is to find each Smoothie and report back to Speedie with what shop it stocks in. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY THEM! However, if you would like to give yourself a better chance of finishing first, it would be wise to buy them to prevent other users from seeing what shop it stocks in. Once you think you have the answers to all eleven Smoothie locations, send a message to Speedie with your guesses. They will be graded, and if all of them are correct, you will win your choice from the prize pool. If they are not fully correct, you will be told which answers are wrong and you may try two more times to get them right. Any questions may be mailed to Speedie or posted in this board. The prizes will be listed below.

IST Bob down at the Food Mall realized he didnt have a very wide selection of breakfast foods. He realized this when Lupay stormed in and shouted, Quiero un poco de pan tostado! Bob doesnt speak Spanish, but when Lupay grabbed a slice of bread and threw it in a toaster, it was made quite clear that she wanted some toast.   Toast and Toast with Egg now stock in the Food Mall. It was at that very moment when Rexx stormed in and began listing his demands of new food products. Bob, red in the face, was tired of being pushed around. He kicked Rexx out of his store and right into the Frozen Treats store, where Greg gladly greeted him.  Greg now stocks a Watermelon Slice Popsicle in his shop, thanks to the frustration of Bob.

IST woke up one morning and was hankering for some eggs. But not just any old eggs...He wanted eggs, on BREAD!! He ran down to the Food Mall and DEMANDED that Bob give him some eggs on some bread! Bob, not wanting to be pecked on the head by an angry Baby Dovu, quickly threw together a slice of bread and an egg to satisfy the little guy. Persona gulped it down faster than...Well, faster than something really fast. o.o; Because of this, Bob declared that he would start stocking a variety of breakfast items. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, after all.    Coffee, Sausage Biscuit, and Slice of Bread with Egg all stock in the Food Mall, thanks to the persistence and odd cravings of a Baby Dovu.
