IST  It's that time again. Icepets could use some more assistance around the site, so we'll be opening up moderator applications again. We will not just pick anyone. We're looking for someone who has the time and patience to dedicate their time to the site. This is not an easy job, so please think carefully before applying. If you sent in an application the last time they were open then we should still have it. Please contact Dante if you would like to reuse your old application. On another note, I've only received one submission for our Pumpkin Contest! I can't believe it! At this rate, that one person is gonna get all three prizes! XD You have the rest of today, and all of tomorrow and Wednesday to carve that pumpkin, take a pic, and submit it to Speedie. Get on it!!

The bag can restock upto 10x more per hour, and the present upto 3x more per hour.

IST  Behold!Yes, you know this Pet. This is the Woodland Cobron. It was funded by Mrsgiggles on November 30th, 2011 and was drawn by Romance. A little bit of background info on the Woodland Cobron; it was originally requested to be an Evil Cobron, but with the color scheme of a king cobra, and a sort of 'cute' evil. Romance set to work, but when she was finished, it didn't look very evil. The only reason being the colors didn't match the rest of the evil Pets.  It was decided we would keep the image, but call it something different. Woodland came to mind, and it stuck. Fast forward to present day, when user Hiskey requests a Woodland Ridix. But his request is a little different. It doesn't quite match the theme of the only other woodland Pet, but we, the staff, really like the idea and we run with it. Introducing...  The Woodland Ridix. This will be the new Woodland theme; our IcePets in the form of real life animals.  The beautiful Woodland Ridix and its Morphing Potion were drawn by the lovely Hornbuckle! The Woodland Ridix Morphing Potion can be found in the I.C.E. Shop for 400 IC until the end of October, after which it will go up to 800 IC. ((720 IC for Gold Members!))It can also be found in the Snow Jar Igloo for 15,000 iP, if you have the patience. ;D Thank you so much, Hiskey, for funding the Woodland Ridix, and thank you Hornbuckle for the beautiful art! They are constantly helping other users, and are always guiding new users around icepets, teaching them about our features, and generally answering all questions they have. This elite team of specialists are as follows (in no particular order): Wonderrabbit Soot Cowpro Pom Brad Lainie Tokcando Read These users can be identified on the forums with the title (below their username) Welcomer. So what can they do?Well, apart from helping new users find their feet, they can also send ANY user a Newbie Package A Newbie Package contains 5 basic items (food, morph, book, toy, beauty) to help new members find their feet. ALL current members can ALSO recieve one! To receive one, just do one of the following; a) Post in the Introductions Forum (and ask for a newbie package!) b) Post on a Committee Members profile (comment) c) Send ONE of them a Private Message and ask for one! You should only take ONE action to ask for a package!.....and.......  Oh yeah!, there is an avatar to collect too!The New Feature (added to the Arcade!!) is the Welcoming Center. IST   This release is sweet in all the right ways; the caring Soot has funded this Angelic Makoat in memory of her grandmother. If that doesn't warm your heart, consider yourself a monster. Sweet in a different definition is the Pinata Ridix, funded by the very patient Read! She has funded many things in the past month or two so expect to see her username in the news quite a few times!   These are the beautiful and colorful Morphing Potions used to get these magnificent Pets...Angelic Makoat Morphing Potion and Pinata Ridix Morphing Potion are both available in the I.C.E. IST These six Items have been gone from the Token Booth for an entire year but are making another appearance starting today!       In order, they are Truffle Lotion, Truffle Oil, Autumn Leaves, Mushroom Stamp, Wilting Maple Leaf Ice Cube, and Chestnut Figure. These Items will remain in the Token Booth through fall, and will be removed at the start of winter only to return next fall.       In three days, on October 14th, the six Items listed above will be removed from the Token Booth, not to be seen again until next summer. If you don't currently have them, stock up!! They are, in order, Cherry Cubes, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, Beach Ice Cube, Beach Swimming, BBQ Meal, and Summer Stamp. A couple more things concerning the Token Booth...Starting October 21st and running through October 31st, these four Items will be available in the Token Booth; These Items are Bat Plushie, Candycorn, Pumpkin Soup, and Pumpkin Ice Cube. They will only be available for those ten days this month, not to be seen again until next year. Be prepared!! Last, but not least, in three days, on October 14th, we will be removing the Baby Dabu Morphing Potion from the Token Booth permanently, and the only way to get one will be from the Historian.  Aww, why?  Why? To make room for the brand new Baby Ridix Morphing Potion!!   I hope I'm an acceptable replacement!Yes, the Baby Ridix was drawn by one of our newest artists, Croquet while the Morphing Potion was drawn by the lightening quick Hornbuckle! Baby Ridix Morphing Potion is available as stated, in the Token Booth, but for those of you who can't seem to save up enough Tokens, it can also be found in the I.C.E. IST It's been a pretty slow week, getting everything organized with our new artists, staff members falling ill, and don't even get me started on all the poodles that have been stealing my hats... But that string of emptiness is ending, and this is what we have to start back up at our normal pace. ^_^  BEHOLD! The Crystal Snow Jar! IST  Congratulations to Brose for being voted the Staff of the Month! Brose joined our team only a few months ago, and has yet to stop writing. In the last month alone, he has more pageviews than the rest of the staff (combined!)  This item has been released for the month of October to commemorate the hard work that Brose does! So what is the clue for this item? See this book? There arent many ways to obtain it.. Well, technically, perhaps you can ask your pets.As always, you can receive a grand total of 1 per day! IST We have a new person to welcome to the team; Clobert! Clobert has joined Ruichi as a Graphic Artist and will be helping to catch up with the back log of custom avatars! On a smaller note, a new item has been seen stocking in the ICE Shop for 2,100IC.  UHD Currently you can use a UHD (Universal Hacking Device) to change the Pluch-O-Matic to hourly, or Combination from a 12 hour wait down to a 1 hour wait. These single-use item upgrades are permanent on your account once activated (via your inventory).
