IST User feedback is very important to us. It helps us see things from your perspective and make improvements where we can. This is why we're introducing a new part of our Support Site today: Surveys! We will post surveys asking for your opinions on certain parts or aspects of the site. It will be announced in the News when there is a new survey available.  Currently, there is one survey available for our last Team Contest. Please note that it's only available for the people who have participated in the contest. Answering this questionnaire will award you with 10,000 IcePoints. Answers will be anonymous. Please answer honestly. Your feedback can help improve future contests! The deadline for the current survey is July 14th, so make sure to fill it in before that date if you want to help improve our contests and claim the IcePoints reward!

IST Good afternoon! As promised, we will show you another preview of the recode and how it is coming along so far. We hope this is as exciting to you as it is for us.  Today we're introducing you to... Conversations! Conversations are a new version of Messaging. Through them, you will be able to send simple welcome messages, for example, make that trade you've been waiting for or just casually talk to your friends. Did I say friends? Plural? Yes! But first, you'll have to create a new conversation, in which you will be given the option to autofill the user field with the usernames of your friends, as shown below. After introducing the subject of your conversation and your first message, the new conversation will show up on a detailed list of all your conversations.    Aren't all these amazing and so visually clean? But wait! That's not all! In a smaller update, you will be able to see the information about your pets or items directly on page, through the new hover-over feature.   Don't you wish you had all these Makoats?That's it for now! We hope you like the updated messaging system and the new hover-over feature. If you have any suggestions, please let us know. IST You maaaay have noticed we've added a new link to our page footer! At the bottom of every page you will find a navigation bar linking to various places around IcePets. One of those pages is the brand new Staff page!  On this page you will find a fully up-to-date list of all staff members, their birthdays, staff titles, and even a blurb about them! Although someone didn't put much effort into theirs... With luck, this page will make it easier for you to find out who you should contact if you're ever in need of talking to a Staff Member directly. Be sure to check this page often, as there are certain days where you can get a special item from it!  Staff Goodie BagThis item will stay in the ICE Shop at 400 IC or 360 IC for anyone who has a Gold Account. It will be home to all past Staff of the Month items, so if you missed your chance at getting one of those, you have a random chance to pick it up from this item! This item will also rarely be given out from the Staff page under certain circumstances, so be sure to keep up with our staff!  Speaking of new staff, you may have noticed someone else replying to issues in the Glitches Forum. We are proud to announce we have a new addition to the IcePets team! Everyone please welcome... @ Tom! Tom will be working with Judda on site coding, though he will be entirely dedicated to the current site and not the actual recode. There's absolutely no need to be disappointed, in a tough competition like this one, every participant is a winner! Every user that has actively helped their team will receive two randomly chosen items that they are missing in two of their collections.    Collection items will go directly into your corresponding collections. The Golden Competitor Stamp is excluded from this.Team Red Dovu has scored 16,838 points and therefore comes in third place! Congratulations to all of you! Your effort will be rewarded with an Ice Cube, a Stamp and a Gourmet Food item of your choice plus a random Morphing Potion. Woohoo! IST Only half of a day remains in this incredible restocking race. The shopkeepers are having a hard time keeping up with you guys, great job! Now... I bet you would like to find out how your team's doing compared to the others, eh? Well then: Currently in first place is...  Team Yellow Sharshel with a whopping 21,763 points! Quite a bit behind in second place is...  Team Red Dovu following them, scoring 14,533 points up to this moment! Currently in third place...  Team Green Trido with 13,278 points. Only a little bit more and you'll beat the others, keep on trying! Last but not least, in fourth place...  Team Blue Audril with currently 12,769 points. IST  Hey everyone, we're here with a contest update! These stats were generated on June 11th, 5:30 am IST, so they may be different by the time you read this. The teams have been killing it so far with a total of 49,413 points! Whew, that's amazing. Want to know how well your team is doing? In fourth place, Team Red Dovu has earned a total of 10,032 points so far. They struggeled in the beginning, but seem to be catching up to the other teams! In third place, we have Team Green Trido. They have earned a total of 10,245 points so far. They were second place for a while, but have fallen back into third. In second place, Team Blue Audril has earned a total of 10,624 points so far. Team Blue Audril has been fighting with Team Green Trido over second place and seem to have won that spot (for now?) Surprising no one, Team Yellow Sharshel is at first place and has earned a total of 18,512 points so far. From the start of the competition they have been ahead by a mile. It seems impossible for them to lose the lead, but who knows what can happen these last two days? Fun fact: a total of 36,164,279 IcePoints has been spent by the contestants so far- whoa! Don't worry if your team isn't doing as well as you'd hoped, nothing is set in stone yet! You still have two days left until the deadline of June 13th at midnight IST!

IST Everyone in the Restocking Competition may have a bit of a head start on this new Trophy but I'm sure the rest of us can catch up!      This little Restocker Trophy may start out small and basic but you can upgrade it lots of times! The more you buy from NPC Shops the more you can upgrade your trophy. Do you think you can hit the highest tier? Maybe you can, but I'm sure there will be more...A small note, these trophies will be awarded at set times throughout the day, so you don't have to fret if your trophy isn't updating when you believe it should be.

We have heard your concerns about not being able to make it in time so we will have open sign-ups until 10:00 PM IST on June 5th. If we get over 40 users who want to participate then we will randomly choose 10 for each of the 4 teams. Users will be randomly sorted into teams and the contest will start at 12:00 Midnight IST on June 6th. We will avoid putting you on a team you've previously been on. To explain again, you will be participating in a Restocking Competition. You and your team will be working against 3 other teams to see who can buy the most items from the NPC Shops. All NPC Shops count for this. Each item is worth 1 point, rarity and price do not matter! The competition will run until 12:00 Midnight IST on June 13th. You won't get any prizes if you don't participate, so do your best! I bet you're a little curious about those prizes, yeah? Well here they are! First Place  A retired item of choice. (Or click here to check it out!)  From here you will be able to create support tickets. You can create support tickets for any problems or questions you have and a Moderator or Administrator will help you as soon as one is available. This comes with email notifications as well. You don't have to have a serious problem to use this, we will be happy to help you with any questions or concerns you may have! You may notice this page includes the ability to submit applications for all different positions as well. We have a lot of open positions that we will make a news post about within the next few days. If you want to be a part of the IcePets team keep a look out! If you have any issues using this part of the site please let us know in the Site Glitches forum section!

IST Now that we've settled into June and people are starting to be released on summer vacation, I think it's a great time for a Team Competition! This month we're hosting a RESTOCKING COMPETITION. This competition will run for one week. You, along with your team, will be challenged to buy as many items from NPC shops as you can. Each item you buy will award you one point for your team. There will be four teams of 10, each representing their own colour and species, just like previous competitions.  We will only allow forty participants to compete. If you want to join this competition, sign-ups will begin at NOON IST on June 4th. A news post will be posted with all of the necessary instructions at that time. We're giving you plenty of time to clear your schedule so you can sign up in time! Users will be randomly assigned to teams, however, if you have been on a team previously we will try to put you on one you haven't been on! Good luck!

IST The first of the month already?! I guess that means it's time to tally up these votes and announce this month's Member of the Month! Congratulations to... @ jeniThank you for being such a great part of our community! You will receive 50,000 IP and this exclusive avatar: Some things that were said about Jeni: -I wanted to nominate Jeni for MOTM she's always very sweet whenever I talk to her and super, super grateful! She works very hard to make art for people, as well. -Jeni is super friendly and fun to talk to. She's super generous and strives to be helpful which she is. Not to mention, she's quite talented. A worthy user for sure.  Whenever we have Member of the Month you know Staff of the Month is soon to follow! This time say congratulations to... @ ReadRead has been hard at work behind the scenes for all of us. She works really hard to pull us all together on projects and future endevours and we're glad to have her on our team! As a thank you for all of her hard work, we have released an item in her honour.  Jar of Paper StarsDo you want to get your hands on this item? Well you need a hint, I suppose... We'll give you the jar, but you have to fetch the stars yourself!  Whew, is it getting hot in here or is it just me? Summer?! Oh! With Summer fast approaching, we need to clear that old stock of Spring Token Booth items to make way for our Summer items! You have plenty of time to grab these items as they will be around until Autumn starts to approach. There are even four new additions making their way into the Token Booth!     Time to start saving up some Tokens. As a reminder, we have something very fun coming up veeeeeerrrrrrry soon, so stay tuned!
