Only two teeth? Awww, poor thing! But I'm sure your dog is pampered with nice soft foods.

I have three cats and a lizard. Quite a handful! But I love them all so much!

I have... accumulated quite a few. CURRENT pets, let's see... I started with 2 dogs.

Then an older cat lost his elderly owner, and my coworker needed to rehome him. My other coworker is the one who neutered him and did his kitten adoption exam many years prior ^^

Then a deaf cat, formerly stray, needed rehoming, because the person who adopted him had an older cat, and this guy was so playful he was driving her batty and she hated him.

Then there was a HBC cat found by an ACO who stayed in hospital for several weeks after his leg was pinned. He has two different coloured eyes and is all playful and lovey dovey, and I decided I needed him. He never even stepped foot in the shelter.

There's also the budgie I got to live on my desk. He loves head scratches but also decides to randomly bite.

And the last addition was the parrot who needed rehoming because the elderly lady was too allergic to her. I was going to drive it up to the parrot sanctuary but I always wanted an African Grey so I sneakily told my partner, "Come visit this bird so you can see what they're like." Yeah, we took her home.

Fortunately, I no longer work there, so my risk of accumulating more pets has dropped off.

Here is the node, you who hate change and fear revolution. Keep these two squatting men apart; make them hate, fear, suspect each other. Here is the anlage of the thing you fear. This is the zygote. For here "I have lost my land" is changed; a cell is split and from its splitting grows the thing you hate—"We lost our land." The danger is here, for two men are not as lonely and perplexed as one. And from this first "we" there grows a still more dangerous thing: "I have a little food" plus "I have none." If from this problem the sum is "We have a little food," the thing is on its way, the movement has direction.

Whoa, that's a lot of pets! I'm suprised you can keep track of so many, but home must be a pretty warm and loving place. Animals are just too precious.

Have you had this many pets in the past, or is this a new thing?

If one of us goes away for a week, you REALLY feel it. Time to feed the dogs, and do the cat food and litter, and clean out the birds, now let the dogs out... Oof.

I've never had so many. It was a hazard of the job, being near lots of shelter pets. It was always, "too many pets! no more pets!" until the next one got brought home...

Imma make a deal with the bad wolf so the bad wolf don't bite no more ~

I've always grown up with cats in my family and I've kept that going as I moved out.
I currently have 3 cats, Mei Mei, Leia, and Pudding. They're all rescues!
My first cat I adopted was an 8 year old rescue named Thumper when I was 18. I had him for half a year but he had kidney failure from old age, and was in and out of the vet for the majority of the time he was with me. He was very sweet so I was happy to make him comfortable for his last few months.

Mei Mei was 6 months and super rowdy when I adopted her. Haha, the shelter said she was supposed to be an only cat because she didn't get along well with other cats, but it just turned out she had a lot of anxiety and separation issues, she's extremely loving and reliable at four years old and now takes care of the two younger cats I have. She's extremely intelligent and protective of me and my other fur babies.

Princess Leia was super tiny and was actually rescued by my old boss. He kept sending me photos of her and writing these stories pretending to be her so I would adopt her, since he had nothing but large dogs. smile_laugh.gif I caved and now she's a large cat loaf that is always wanting to cuddle with me and Mei Mei.

Last but not least is Pudding. He's the only boy cat, but he was outside in the cold a few months ago... I think he was only a month or two old, and weighed hardly two pounds. I heard a kitten meowing and so I was out on my front porch meowing back at the noises, and he came running up to me meowing. I fed him and he followed me inside and now he's getting much bigger, it's about time for him to get neutered, and he's probably the most clingy and affectionate out of the bunch.

My cats are super spoiled! I cook them their meals, as opposed to buying premade catfood, they go out on walks on leashes twice a week if weather allows it, and I make sure to take at least twenty minutes for each of them alone to pet and spend time with. I love them very much!
