What shops have items you restock?

I personally like the Book Shop and the Snow Jar Igloo the best. Occasionally, I visit the Toy Store and Frozen Treats when I'm looking for items to put in Newbie Packages (still working on that avatar).

Which shops do you rarely visit? Any shops (aside from the Snow Jar Igloo) that you think are pretty profitable?

@Bassinet When I first started on IcePets I was told weapons sell well, so I began restocking from there - it got the shop off the ground so to speak.
Now, however, I find there's a variety of tastes and wants, every user is different, of course. So all the shops bring good profits. Everything from plushies, to morphs, to snow jars, weapons, items gained from quests that I don't want go into the shop. Plus, keep your eye on the SCRAP SHOP! I mean, yesterday, for example, was a real platinum mine for current holiday items others had sold there for immediate ip! Hope this helps some.

I really like the snow jar igloo, for the chance to pick up new and unexpected skins. For instance, I had no idea how much I NEEDED the crystal Novyn until I saw it restock, looked it up, and nabbed it.

Currently, I'm focusing on one collection at a time, so I'll visit the stamp store a ton, but avoid the ice cube shop like a plague. I don't have the IP to build up both!

Here is the node, you who hate change and fear revolution. Keep these two squatting men apart; make them hate, fear, suspect each other. Here is the anlage of the thing you fear. This is the zygote. For here "I have lost my land" is changed; a cell is split and from its splitting grows the thing you hate—"We lost our land." The danger is here, for two men are not as lonely and perplexed as one. And from this first "we" there grows a still more dangerous thing: "I have a little food" plus "I have none." If from this problem the sum is "We have a little food," the thing is on its way, the movement has direction.

@Lokki Wow, that's some good information. I didn't know the Scrap Shop could be so profitable.

@Megrim Ha! I know how it is to have to limit yourself to one collection at a time. I'm just focused on book collecting for now.

@Bassinet Yes, it depends upon when people are needing immediate ice points. Green tokens are, for example, almost impossible to get hold of except occasionally through Cecie - or user shops. But rarely do they show up in the Scrap Shop as they have been the past couple days. Great profits to be made toward your IcePets goals!

@Lokki Do you know why the Green Tokens are hard to come by? What's their main use?

@Bassinet Well, Tokens may be used in the Token Booth for all sorts of items unavailable anywhere else. People for some reason started hoarding the green ones which created scarcity. Check out the Token Booth on the games page...

@Lokki So they're not actually rare or more useful than other tokens, it's just that players created their scarcity? And oh! I do already know about the Token Booth. I try to remember to visit and buy stuff, but you know, so many things to do on IcePets!

I like to restock a lot in the Weapons shop and the Plushie Shop. The Sugar Rush is also a good spot to go.

Snow Jar Igloo is really only good if you're shopping for yourself or you find the hard to find Dreamworld and Toon colours. I don't find it nearly as profitable as it used to be.

In my opinion you should focus on the quests more than the store.
Choose a quest you want to focus on, do that type of quest daily and start restocking in the particular store.

Start with one quest/store. In the beginning you should restock as much as possible, this way you're able to complete and make profit from quests. Invest your profits in restocking in the particular store. This way you'll learn about the real value of the items, cause rarity in the usershops doesn't necessarily mean it is rare or valuable. If you know the ins and out about one quest and store, you could try a second shop to restock. smile_happy.gif

I'm mostly focusing on plushies right now because I love them so much! But I also try to do all the quests at once, so I find I run out of IP really quickly. Maybe that's my problem :/

Anyone knows which STORE restocks Snowman parts?

I'm trying to complete the Jigsaw Puzzle "Build a Snowman" and the only place I have seen the parts being sold is a people's shops and the ScrapShop.

@fizzy No NPC shop sells them (as far as I know) =)

You can get them as snowman quest prizes or from the scrap shop as people dump them in there.

@IcePrincess, I can't do the Snowman Quest, it says:

"You must unlock this quest before you can access it."

So, I figured that I need to Build a Snowman in order to have access to his quests.

I guess the Scrap Shop would be the only choice. smile_happy.gif Thanks for your help! smile_happy.gif

@fizzy

I haven’t done the math in awhile, but if I’m remembering correctly, I actually think buying the ‘Complete Snowman’ from the Scrap Shop and activating the Snowman Quest without actually purchasing all the parts individually is much cheaper.

You’ll then get the individual parts as prizes from that Quest and can finish the Jigsaw with those. Just something to consider if you’re watching your iP!

Once you have that Quest unlocked, you’ll have to come back to this thread and tell us how you’re doing restocking those Snowman Quest Items! It’s the most expensive, but definitely worthwhile, Quest to restock for.

Thank you Nati! I didn't know the item "complete snowman" would unlock the Snowman Quest. iP wise is the best option indeed.
I have already "glued" six pieces on the jigsaw puzzle (missing 3 more), so I think I'll just keep going that way.
Thank you again for all the information! smile_happy.gif
