So my grandparents are German and have passed down some Christmas traditions and I thought it would be fun to share one with you all and use it here on icepets!

On the 6th day of December you would put your sunday shoes outside the front door before you go to bed, and St. Nick would come and check to make sure you are being good. Then he would lay some yummy treats in your shoes for you to find the next morning!

So.... What I want you to do is comment and post a picture of shoes below. (it can be from the internet, icepets, you draw them... whatever you like). and tomorrow I will send you all a yummy treat!

Merry Christmas!smile_heart.gifsmile_angel.gif

Here in Argentina we start our christmas preparations on the 8th of december... in the same day, you have to leave your "wishlist" for "Papá Noel" (Santa) in some branch of the tree... the morning after it's gone, cause some elf took it to the north pole
and we place the "baby Jesus" under the tree the 24th of December smile_star.gifsmile_heart.gif

@chuchita_97
that's very cool! I like that little note thing! I may just have to add that in to our Christmas traditions because that's so cute!
It's interesting to see how different parts of the world celebrate Christmas smile_happy.gif

This sounds like a really cool tradition! I’ve never heard of it before until now.

Here’s my picture of shoes: I actually really like these. Perfect for Christmas time!

Just popping in to confirm this! :3
St. Nick brought me some yummy candy as well as a little gift (which was too big to fit into my shoes so he kinda just left it next to it xD). What a nice guy :3

haha that's fun!
I no longer live with my parents so I don't get to do that anymore... sigh. But I can't wait for the magic to happen for my own kids smile_happy.gif

@skipenea What a lovely thought! And tradition! Wish I'd been in time but I adore learning about other cultures so this was wonderful!
