I really love the current sudoku trivia and I think it would be great to have it feature as a permanent game someday.

There could be 1-4 daily puzzles and each puzzle rewards a set amount of ip on solving. (Perhaps 5,000-10,000ip per puzzle?).

It could also possible have a score board. The score could be based on the time it takes to solve the puzzle, and the highest scorers as the ones with the quickest times.

I don't know how hard it would be to implement something like this or if it would even be possible but perhaps after the recoding is done it can be looked at?

Ooooooh I totally support this smile_happy.gif there could be different levels of difficulty that give you different IP prizes. I think we definitely need Sudoku here, I just love it so much smile_laugh.gif

I'd love a Sudoku game! I've seen quite a few handfuls of weekly Sudoku html 5 games around sites. I wonder if there are ways to make randomized ones based on difficulty.

All the same, I'd love to see an IcePets related Sudoku more often than in just the Trivia. smile_grin.gif

I'm not the best at Sudoku, but it is pretty fun. Maybe a new Sudoku game on the site will allow me
to improve. I would like to see new mentally challenging games on the site as well.

I really love Sudoku, but the trivia was hard!!
It took me so long because I couldn't get my head around the pets. I struggled for a while until I gave up and numbered all of the pets.

I got the trivia correct and it was totally worth the extra effort (yay new cube for my collection!), but I don't know how often I could play a pet themed Sudoku game because I'd probably not bother going to so much effort because I don't have time.

I realise though that I may be in the minority, and others may not have the same brain block I had lol. I'm not sure of the reason, but I need numbers for this game! smile_laugh.gif

I am all for having a Sudoku game on Icepets! I really hope it could be interactive because doing it the way trivia does it would be super hard. I am not very good with doing Sudoku but I would totally play once in a while just for fun and maybe to improve...but please...not pets, just the numbers with some pretty Icepets art...please smile_heart.gif

I'd really love to see a Sudoku game on Icepets as well!

The 1 - 4 daily puzzles with varying IP rewards based on difficulty sounds great, maybe even give more IP rewards based on different factors, such as a perfect or quick rewarding more IP? I don't know if something like that would be too harsh though, so I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this.

I have to agree with RiverStarr on using numbers instead of the pet graphics however.
The Sudoku trivia was fun to solve, but I also ended up having to number the pets because having all those small detailed images is difficult to visually parse and gets confusing very fast. It'd be fun to do occasionally, but probably not every day.
Having it be interactive would be extremely helpful though; it'd make playing it much easier and more fun to do!

Unpopular opinion, but I liked that it was pets. If I wanted to go play normal sudoku, I could go find it literally anywhere else. (I know the actual definition of literally, but I'm using it here to demonstrate just how prevalent normal sudoku is.)

I also like that it creates another layer of (almost artificial) difficulty, and I'll admit that I also substituted them for numbers. Even so, I prefer the pet focus since it makes it a game very unique to IP, and it's not like it's difficult to substitute numbers into them anyway.

Don't do anything I would do.
And definitely don't do anything I wouldn't do.

If procrastinating was a video game, I'd be at the top of the leaderboards.

I'm so glad to see so many people like the idea as well!

I agree on making it interactive, it was difficult trying to keep track doing it mentally.

I personally loved having it Icepets themed - although some of the pet colours were confusing and hard to locate. Perhaps they could use basic colours instead. 9 different pets and 9 different basic colours? (I wouldn't use snowdrift, ice and white together - they're too similar).

Playing the trivia Sudoku was one of the first experiences I had on this site, I quickly learned the names of pets while I was trying to figure out who was who on it.

I loved the challenge and I also would love to do more!
