I definitely understand being bummed out by not getting a lot of attention on DA and, since you ask for honesty, maybe I can give you a few reasons why it's not garnering a lot of attention?
-The lineart style looks like it came from paint. While that's not bad in general, and I've seen some art work very well with that pixel-ish lineart, it makes it seem very "childish" and drawn by someone without experience. I'd personally suggest picking up another art program and trying out new brushes.
-There's no shading or depth in details. You lose a lot of details when you don't add shading, lighting, textures, or more detailed features in artwork. If you use a new art program, it's worth getting to learn how art layers work and practicing shading. This also includes details in anatomy, such as giving structure to fingers, knees, elbows, toes, etc.
-And finally, which is just for this specific piece and not in general, it looks like you cut the picture down the middle and flipped it to make it look like you drew both sides. The lines seem so perfect and exact that it looks a little motionless. If you didn't do that, ignore me, it just looks that way.
Overall, I think it's really cute, but it's understandable that it doesn't get too much attention if you're not adding a lot of attention to detail into it.
Suggested art programs: GIMP, Paint.NET, Krita, Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI,
