A Cinnasaur is a small lovable furred creature that resembles a rabbit, with sharp dinosaur like jaws, eyes and claws all topped with a cinnamon bun shaped tail. They prefer small bugs and animals but have been known to feast on nuts, fruits and otherwise poisonous foliage. Watch out, as these little critters love to bite if provoked but can be tamed if paired with the right owner.
-Cinnasaurs reach as big as 2 1/2 feet tall and weigh as much as 15 lbs.
-Cinnasaurs in the wild often live in groups called "batches" or a "batch"
-Cinnasaurs have no teeth, only jagged jaws that connect and fit together.
-Cinnasaurs can have differently shaped jaws, as long as they fit together and have one point where they are sharp.
-Cinnasaurs typically live up to 10 years in the wild double that or more in captivity.
-A baby Cinnasaur is called a Kibble or batch of Kibbles.
-Cinnasaurs come in any number of colors, there is no limit.
-Cinnasaurs lay eggs but are warmblooded.
-Cinnasaurs are the first of a series of genetically produced animal to be able to procreate like existing creatures on Earth.
-Cinnasaurs appear steril if too closely related to another when breeding. They may only breed as close as 3rd cousins.
-There are rumored to be three different types of Cinnasaurs, but only the normal standing ear variant is available for now.
Though breeding has yet to be implemented, here's some information for all you curious peeps out there..
-Cinnasaurs take a month to mature from a kibble. After that they are full grown and ready to breed.
-Males may breed as often with any females as long as the female is full grown and not raising any kibbles.
-Females may breed once a month unless raising a batch of kibbles. They may only breed after the batch has grown out of the nest making the wait up to two months. That's one month gestation and one month cooldown while nurturing young.
-Breedings are usually not successful outside of the breeding season. The breeding season starts the third week of January to the third week of April.
-Batches can be Superfecund, meaning have more than one sire.
-The rarer the trait one parent possesses, the less likely it will show up in breedings.
-Females make a nest and can lay up to as many as three to five eggs in one batch. Only half of these actually hatch and their eggshells resemble the possible design and colors on the kibble.
-Owners of the breeding will choose which will survive.
-The owner of the female gets the first choice of half the batch (rounded up) to keep, unless the owner does not wish to keep any.
-The sire (if only one) gets to choose one of those to keep that are incubated, unless there is only one. If there is only one egg then it's up to the mother to decide if the father takes the egg. If the female does not wish to incubate any the single sire may choose one egg to incubate himself. Males raising a kibble may not breed again until the kibble is full grown.
-If there is multiple fathers, more eggs are possible to survive as each sire (if there is more than one) may incubate an egg of their choosing. The female's owner decides who picks in what order. They may only incubate eggs separately if the mother doesn't incubate any at all.
-Do not ask to be staff, if staff is open I will have form posted at the bottom of this post and post on the thread requesting so.
-All forms (if requesting) should be messaged to me or a mod of the species to be looked over.
-You may own up to 3 for free, to own more you will need to upgrade your hutch.
-You may not breed or create your own Cinnasaurs. This is a closed species!
-You may tryout for or purchase Cinnasaurs currently up for adoption.
-You may not resell your cinnasaur, if you no longer want your cinnasaur please look to a staff member to have it placed back for adoption or notify us if you plan to gift to someone.
-All purchases must be made in either Ice Points or Ice Cash. More information lower.
-Respect all staff and our decisions.
-Do not add hair tufts or items to your cinnasaur. Unless you purchase such add ons from the shop.
-If you plan on buying with Ice Cash we will keep tabs underneath the shop area with how much you have left, you may come back and spend it on yourself or for others at any date.
-Have fun and look out for events and more in the near future!
Who runs and manages the species. The go to person who makes the difficult decisions about staff and the species as a whole.
Artists make designs for users to adopt and may make any kind of competition they see fit for them, any profits earned from the contest they may keep. They may do breedings if available in the future.
Moderators bump the thread when it goes off the first page, answer questions and help settle disputes about the species.
The archivist is a special staff member who sets up and links to all the designs adopted out, saying who they belong to and what they're gender and name's are if provided.
**Staff members get one free custom per 10 designs adopted out as long as they have room in their hutch. They also get a whooping 50% discount on the shop prices!! They get to keep the ip/ic they earn from designs sold. Staff also get one custom when starting. The owner may have as many cinnasaurs or shop items as pleased and give out customs when seen fit.
Look under each artist's post below to see if any are up for adoption. If someone is being re-adopted they will go under this category with listed details.
Types of contests:
-Flatsale (First Come First Serve with IP or IC.)
-Raffle (Pay for so many tickets in a drawing.)
-Auction (Bid the highest in the timeframe.)
-Free-for-All Contest (Details may vary, a form is submitted but no IP or IC is required to try out.)
Depending on the artist sometimes the contest may vary or be mixed between the above. Make sure to check the details for the one you wish to try for.

When Cinnasaurs don't get adopted out as quickly as you would like, feel free to ask for your designs to be posted here! In doing so, you cut the price in half in hopes they find a home quicker. If you're the one adopting, be sure to see who the design belongs to and shoot them the junk trade.

Don't want to buy a premade one? Pick an artist taking custom requests... prices may vary depending on the order.ORDERING A CUSTOM?
This in depth guide will help you figure out for both artist and customer what's allowed and what's not.
With custom Cinnasaurs, you have a free reign over what you want in a design from one of our artists. This is a specific as what kind of edits you want to an overall theme and even items if you so wish! You save your currency when ordering a custom, every fur or line edit you add onto the concept you get built into the price of the custom. Normally a single genetic line edit is 100k but this is a way you can get more bang for your buck.
The only thing I ask no artists allow for customs follows:
-No added limbs that aren't part of the species. (This includes wings, horns and actual feathers.)
-No crazy full body modifications. (bald or scaled cinnies, cinnies with gems embedded into their fur.)
-No non-curled tails. (unless a cinnasaur doesn't have a tail, all cinnasaurs have cinnamon roll shaped tails. They wouldn't be a cinnasaur without this key feature.)
That being said, actual line edits that are genetic have three rarities. The rarer they are the more they will cost or count towards your customs pricing. I won't give exact prices here but rather a short conversion for how many count towards each type of package.
Simple: 1-3 genetic edits, any amount of items, simpler design/concept.
Intermediate: 3-5 genetic edits, any amount of items, moderate design/concept.
Complex: 5+ genetic edits, any amount of items, any design/concept.
***REMEMBER: Artists have the right to decline your custom order if they feel the concept/design isn't in their capabilities.Common Traits
count as one genetic edit
, these are the most commonly seen line edits.Uncommon Traits
count as two genetic edits
, these aren't seen as much.Rare Traits
count as three genetic edits
, these are the rarest of the rare and shouldn't be seen as common throughout the species.
-Shorter or Longer Fur (Cinnies have various fur lengths, but not bald!)
-Type of fur (Curly, Wavy, other than shaggy and short etc./longer fur comes out straight.)
-Head Shape (Shorter or longer snout, rounded or pointier snout, etc.)
-Heterochromia (two different colored eyes.)
-Larger or smaller existing limbs (huge tail or ears? smaller arms or body?)
-Different shaped mouths (this could be more rounded or squared mouths, etc.)
-Extra Existing Limb (this could be anything from a toe, tail or even a head!)
-Missing Existing Limb (they can't be missing a head but this could be an arm or tail, leg, ear, etc.)
-Albinism/Melanism (solid white with red eyes/all black with any eye color.)
***If you're not sure how common or rare a trait is, ask me in a message and I'll add it to the list.
After all of this has been taken into consideration and you're still set on applying for a custom, make sure a slot for an artist is open and allow one to seven business days for it's completion. Some artists may keep you up to date and post screenshots and ask for more input, others may not. With all this said and done, shoot the custom form below to this topic and be sure to ping the artist who is open.I WOULD LIKE A CUSTOM!
