What is Restocking?
The term "restocking" actually means to replenish your stock, or to stock again. But frequently on the internet it is referred to as the action of buying goods from a main shop/ npc shop rather than a user shop.

What should I restock?
Snow Jars and Morphing Potions
The highest profit generally comes from restocking special snow jars (i.e: halloween, love, baby, etc. Not the basic ones like red, blue, yellow etc.) These items can be found in the Snow Jar Igloo. The snow jar igloo stocks every ten minutes, and if a rare Snow Jar stocks, you have to be very quick to get it! ( The snow jar igloo used to stock Morphing Potions but currently does not. If you acquire one from other means such as the Historian, they may also be sold for a nice profit.) If you find this too challenging, try restocking another type of item like the ones below.
Quest Items
A great way to make ip on icepets is by doing quests. But an even better way is by selling the items requested by the quests. My highest recomendation is for the Chocolate Quest items, and the Weapons Quest items, but all quest items will sell if you price them reasonably. To get a list of request items, you can buy the books of request lists (or get them from the big red button if you are a gold member) Items for candy quest can be found in Sugar Rush, and items for weapons quest can be found in Battle Shop
Collectibles
Go to your profile or the games page, and check out the collections icepets has to offer! Any rarer- end stamps, cubes, or gourmet foods you can restock will typically sell well, especially if they have been released recently.
Seasonals
Every so often, icepets will release items that are only available for a limited time. If you are looking for an investment, stock up on these items! They will have a much higher value later in the year. To see if any items are currently stocking that are limited time, check the news posts.

How Do I Price My Restocked Items?
You never want to drastically over price or under price your items or you may not make a good profit. To make sure your items are priced well, you can: 1)buy an autopricer- an autopricer is an item that can be obtained from the ICE shop that, once added as a permanant addition to your account, can be used to automatically price your items equivilant to the lowest price on the Shop Searcher. 2) Manually Price- you can manually price items well by searching them on the shop searcher and pricing them 1ip below the lowest price. If one of your items to sell cannot be found on the shop searcher, DO NOT autoprice it. It will automatically be priced at its base shops value, and in many cases, the item could be worth far more than that to the consumers. Instead, if youre not sure of the worth, put the item at its maximum pricing in shops (999999) and gradually lower it. Or, simply make a board in the Marketplace Forum and accept offers on the item. Always get a second opinion on an items worth if you arent sure to make sure you arent being ripped off (on both ends, buying and selling!)

a little maintenance
I edited this to accomodate the recent changes to the snow jar igloo.

I wanted to double check, will morphing potions be returning to the snow jar igloo again at some point?

Thank you so much for this! I am new to the site and seem to be restocking the WRONG things as nothing is selling. I shall mix up the shops I stalk and see if that makes a difference. smile_happy.gif

Update
•currently snow jars are much more deflated than at the time this guide was created. Users new to restocking would find it beneficial to look at the shop searcher for which snow jars are selling at a reasonable amount above their snow jar igloo price.
